Wow, so many great changes. I am very pleased. I am so happy that I won't have to relog on death to get my passives back. Huge list of good changes but these are my favorites.
  • Death Recap has been added to the game.
  • The XP awarded for killing enemy player characters has been doubled.
  • Fixed an issue where you could encounter extremely long loading screens while zoning into Cyrodiil.
  • Fixed an issue if you were dead and could detect stealthed enemy player characters.
  • Increased the amount of ultimate generated by single target damage spells.
  • You are now immune to immobilizing effects during the time you are roll dodging, in addition to breaking out of existing effects when you begin the roll dodge.
  • Dark Talons: Reduced the overall radius.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing Nightblade abilities to become unresponsive in high-intensity combat situations.
  • Vampire passive abilities will no longer stop working when your character dies.
  • Nightshade Set: This set will now correctly reduce the stamina cost of sneaking.
  • Fullscreen exclusive mode is now supported on AMD and Nvidia video cards that support this feature.

Can't wait to play. :)

    The nerf deathstroke...... damn.

Btw it doesn't make sense what they write. They say it no longer gain damage bonus from crit hits, and at the same time they say it retains it crit chance?????

Why keep the crit chance if crit hits does nothing????

I don't think I've ever used Death Stroke as a sneak attack.

It means that it's a guaranteed crit chance, but there's no bonus to the crit damage modifier. Before, it was a guaranteed crit chance and the crit damage modifier also received a boost.

Well it could take out 85% of a V2 harvesters life in a sneak attack.

I don't play an NB but I do play a DK and I am glad they resisted the temptation to nerf nuke the crap out of my class due to community outcry. Definitely saw some things that are nice though, good post. The one issue I didn't see a fix for that has been long term is fixing the Bangkorai quest achievement so we can earn the "Hero of the Daggerfall Covenant" title. I wonder if that got fixed and they didn't mention anything, probably not...

I hate community outcry far more than any bug or nerf.

Ha! Well, just to be clear I am not making an attempt to diminish the value of the community and their pleas for change. It's just that at times members of the community can be a bit hysterical.

I liked the post someone made about rock, paper scissors. I think it went something like "Dear devs, I play rock and paper is OP. Please nerf ASAP. Also, scissors seems to be just fine. Thanks!"

Kinda drives the point home that every class is going to have strengths / weaknesses.

I'm sure there are things that can be balanced to improve game play but IMHO it is an over reaction to start pounding your feet on the ground and calling for a class to have all of it's main skills diminished to the point that they are useless. Anyhow, I could go on and on but basically I hope they continue to make modest changes to achieve balance, rather than nerf a class into irrelevancy simply because a handful of people have found a way to maximize it's effectiveness.

I'm not part of that handful FYI, the surf has been too good here in SoCal for me to commit life to gaming in the extreme.
