What are your predictions for the Jerall Pass?

I read about the new pvp area coming in 2027 and wanted to ask what the communities thoughts were on this, and what they predict the format will be?

I don't know a lot about the lore of the Jerall Pass, but looking at what ESO currently has in terms of PvP

Duels
Small scale BGs
Medium scale BGs
Large scale open world
Medium scale pvpve (IC)

VS what is currently missing from a pvp point of view

Free for all (would be really good as a BG mode)
Battle royale style
Extraction style
Medium scale open world
Tug of war style mode
Protect the payload
Search and destroy

Looking at the terrain of the Jerall Pass, I wouldn't be surprised if we have either a medium scale objective style area, where we are protecting supply lines, or capturing and holding objectives (almost battlefield style domination), or even a battle battle royale area. I would love some verticality, as I feel ESO lacks that overall. And some level of dynamic map functions using weather could be really interesting to navigate.

I'd still like to see a free for all mode in which every player is an enemy — but for that to work, you would have to do something about permablock tanks (too high TTK) and bombers (too low TTK).

Get too many tanks and the match will never end. One bomber and most of the kills are made instantaneously.

They pretty much implied it would be most similar to the existing Cyrodiil, but only like one or two keeps.

They wanted a place where people could still have all of the Grey Host playstyle, but without needing to track over such a large zone for performance reasons. I assume their hope is that all of the GH enjoyers will migrate to the Jeralls and then leave Cyrodiil for Vengeance.

I hope it will be more than just the one fort in the lore, because 3 alliances clashing over 1 fort sounds like terrible design.

Gray Host enjoyers will stay on Gray Host.

When Crossplay arrives and there's a need to fit players from three platforms on the same server according to region, we may see campaigns like Vengeance or Jerall Pass (both with higher population caps) be filled.

The Gray Host queue will be abysmal, but Gray Host enjoyers will stay on Gray Host.

Better performance, larger scale battles and more balanced is my hope, but maybe i am too optmistic

It would definitely have to be something like 30-minute sessions with 60v6060 to keep the queue going. Probably objectives-based or extraction-like, with mountainous terrain and choke points. 3 factions was stated, so you probably have 3 factions competing.

If it's just a copy of Cyrodiil but smaller, it would be dead. People don't like fighting ballgroups in the open plains or closed keeps of Cyrodiil, so Jerall Mountains needs goal/mission/win conditions that encourage people to split up.

A few weeks ago I would not have been interested in this at all. The BG situation is terrible now on GH though, they are the ones hitting home keeps and taking scrolls now, it’s hard to earn any AP for Veterancy ranks. Maybe this will end up being an alternative when things get rough.
