Perhaps it would be a good idea to not essentially pick a fight with a guild that came to Skull Crusher to help you when they stood to gain absolutely nothing from doing so. It's not even like they could expect a similar action in return from SC if ever needed because we simply don't have anyone to send to them. They were actually just losing out themselves by helping because they were ignoring their own home campaign. This chest thumping thing is a really strange response to such an action and I'm hoping that people don't assume that you speak for all of EP on SC. I very much appreciate your effort in organizing this but you're on your way to undoing any of the good it caused.

    HOWEVER.

The AD that responded was NOT what was claimed to be on the server. We left 9:45 almost 2 hours from start and AD had maybe 40-50 people. The Noore had maybe 8 people on?

Also I am unsure if Dleatherus was there or not but I bet if you ask those from The Noore that WERE there, they would know how very capable we were of doing JUST that.

we had 6 players in Skull Crusher when the onslaught started (AGAIN - i commend the planning and coordination of it - BRILLIANT!)

by the time 3 keeps had fallen we had 24 or so that could only hustle to Roebeck as fast as they could to try and mount a last stand effort

people were still responding to our call to arms when roebeck fell, and in all we were able to muster just over 50 players, but this was not until the throne had already been taken

    this picture might help:

    8OIbf.jpg

given that our members are spread all around the globe, unless it is a scheduled event, we typically experience approximately 20% +/- of our members actually being online at any given time = usually 60-70

since we are not a dedicated pvp guild (though many of us do call cyrodiil our home) quite a few of those are in PvE, crafting etc - we were proud to field the 50 at such short notice - and they all had fun with the unexpected action - shame we couldn't give you a better fight to reward your efforts of coming across to SC

we had a blast at chalman trying to deny DC the throne, and actually turned them back twice before the overwhelming numbers prevailed

we certainly learned that The Noore could use a lot of practice trying to combat enemy groups of 80+ and we'll be guesting over on Wabbajack more frequently and in a more organized manner to do just that

That evening there is no question that, given the numbers involved, ALL of the forces that AD combined could muster on Skull Crusher, could not have prevented the complete takeover of the map had that been your intent

    - we appreciate the lesson and the motivation to improve :persevere:

Please stop. Vokundein guested in your campaign to help YOU accomplish something you cannot do and we not only succeeded, but we took the EP scroll past AD gates and farmed not only the AD on the server, but we also farmed the DC on the server. Vokundein are not elitiest, but we are a well structured and organized force in PVP and we have accomplished more than turning a map red.

With the help of Condemned and the EP community we went into the most populated and "elite" campaigns in the game and dethroned their emperor and we almost crowned EP an emperor. The server was on full lock and we still managed to succeed. If we could do it on a fully locked Auriel's Bow server there is no reason to go back and do it twice on SC.

Thanks AD and The Noore for the good time. I heard respectful comments directed towards Vokundein (even though at the time some of these AD/Noore didn't know it was us), but it shows a lot of character and class considering we were slightly trollish for taking the EP scroll in your area for awhile. Maybe one day we'll see you all in Wabbajack.

you can count on it, and sooner rather than later - we have a few other things going on atm - many of us guest there on a frequent basis but not in enough numbers or an organized fashion to be of any lasting consequence
you know those times when EP owns the whole map and suddenly Arrius is captured - that's often been us since we know the map is owned, and we make a goal of trying to take an objective and then hold ot for as long as possible against the horde - just for FUN :)

in the future we hope to be a bit more of a lasting influence

I agree that it wouldn't have been done without outside help. Hell, we had to hold a "ceasefire" on DC just to pull it off. Overall it was a cool event, but it won't happen again... especially if EP guilds are going to come in here from SC and try to talk down to outside EP guilds that assisted in the event.

That's a good way to clear out what EP players SC had to begin with as well. It's not like players can't just move to the populated servers that have these kinds of battles daily. SC is already a ghost town most of the time.

I love to see things like this! I, too, was disheartened over and over again at not only seeing AD own the map all day long. Then we'd push to take back some of what was ours, only to log in and see that AD once again owned all the map.

Then it got worse. Not only did AD own the map, but when EP would start pushing, there would be 30 - 50 AD to our 12. It got so bad that pushing, even a keep or two in our own territory was a lesson in just how much suck SC had become.

I remember only one instance where I saw DC attacking the same keep as us and we were ORDERED to leave them alone (not that any of us were about to make a move on them, we were just afraid they'd kill us!) When they showed no signs of being hostile with us, we took the keep together and then they backed out.

This event you hosted is exactly why 3 faction PvP exists. If one faction gets too strong, unite forces and back them down, and the squabble over territory when its safely two sided...for the time being. I just wish ALL people understood that. I'm glad you do! Mad props bro!

That was a beautiful day indeed. I believe it was the dethroning of Luvboard @ robeck when DC and EP "kinda" worked together. It was a beautiful day and I'm glad we all could have fun. Skull crusher has suffered hard to the AD kicking us down with their numbers. we are lucky to have 2-3 people in zone now adays but what can I say it was a great day for both factions.

I'll admit i had alot of hate for The Nore when i played in SC. In the early days of SC I had alot of fun, but once luvboard started wiping zergs with broken abilities it turned me off of the campaign, and this is why i play in wabba now.

After reading through this thread i now realize it wasnt "The Nore" who was the problem. It was lack of communication and leadership and sheer numbers for DC. I couldnt tell you how many pugs i ran and NO ONE would listen to calls, they were to busy collecting skyshards or ganking wolves. ;)

I really hope to bring my guild back to SC one day. Although i probably wont make it my home i may guest there on occasion.

PS: luvboard, i still hate you.

Raad, you are right, it isn't the Noore. There are just A LOT of AD on the server, and they ALL want some action, so any little thing happens and they get on. I can't even blame the AD players for that. Anybody would do the same if they want to PvP in their home server.

those of you still in skull crusher that want to take part in another 5v5 tournament lemme know - after the success of the first one we're going to be holding another one

format for the first one was 'best of 3' format

we made sure to invite @cheapshot to it in a genuine gesture of wanting to work together, and the fact that he was wanting more 1v1, 2v2, 5v5 etc - and we're down with that

for some strange reason after his team lost the first bout he fled the field and abandoned his team mates

his remaining team mates (ralonasan had a couple of great 1v1's vs Night Mistress), the other EP and DC that were there had good fun and awesome 1v1, 2v2, and 5v5 bouts, and we intend to have many more in the future regardless of what @cheapshot and King Joffrey set up to ruin it

actually we have PLENTY of folks that are going to participate - YOUR presence is neither required nor requested

yours and King Joffreys selfishness shines through in all it's glory once again given how he rakes in tens of thousands of AP a day with his repeatable scout quest running - we would hardly be chasing the AP board - it's usually 5 minutes between bouts, most of which don't include those on the leaderboards anyhows

trying to bring some fun and PvP to SC - you know - the thing you profess you were wanting all along

seems all you were wanting is a target to focus your childish bullying on

you ARE the child whose toy is broken, and goes around trying to break every other kid's toy

all i have to say is sad, just sad

Hope King Joffrey and yourself are having a nice time :)

p.s. still waiting on a response as to why you abandoned the 5v5v5 and your team mates

wanna bet a million gold it didn't happen - we have video with audio :)

@Zeedigg‌ This was a stealth mission basically no one knew anything but a few key people. All the keeps were hit at the exact same time. No chance for AD to react or put up a fight in time to stop it.. Eventually they flipped it back on us but who cares it was fun while it lasted.

Plus we dethroned The wicked noore dictatorship.

Well people that hate on this thread fall into two groups

    1) The Noore who had emperor and are pissed the next up for emperor was thorker on AD side and now they can't pass him in AP

    2) Others that joined us expecting more of a fight and were disappointed when the stealth mission actually did what it was suppose to. Also they didnt like the fact DC and EP worked together.

    @Cheapshot‌

we weren't pissed that the throne was lost - we congratulated you upon a brilliant and well=conceived strategy - we had a BLAST that night

the thread derailed once you started making false accusations about the Noore, and our attempts to not only explain the accusations, but also include you in trying to make PvP better on Skull Crusher = all of it met with your spiteful attitude

so there are two kinds of haters on this thread as you stated - they just aren't the two categories that you claim them to be

those who are doing the hating, and those who hate being falsely accused

    D.

p.s. I ask all Noore members that happen to read this thread not to post in it anymore - ty
