View Player Equipped Inventory

I'd really like the option to view other player's equipped inventory. I sometimes walk by someone and see some really neat pieces and wonder what they are. Asking SOMETIMES gets a response, but I find people tend to just keep to themselves.

That would probably "break immersion", too bad "Immersion" is breaking the game.

    +1

I guess an "anonymous" option could be provided for those who want to keep things hidden for whatever reason.

You can just go on some site showing how various motifs and disguises look like. Show equipment can create a lot of drama and more drama is the last thing ESO needs.

I'd be happy if they added another line to an item's description stating what motif the equipment is...

Ah, gear checks. I wasn't even thinking along the lines of the issues like that. I honestly just wanted to peek at the armor styles. The icon graphics aren't always a good representation of what they look like when worn. So yeah.

No, No and Three times NO !

Geez It'd be like going back to Dalaran with people saying link build or you don't get invited to groups !

Additionally having a decent build doesn't mean you know how to play, or how to interact within a group. Id rather take an experienced player in rubbish gear any day over some fool whose just brought himself all the best gear ! ! !

If you want to know what someone is wearing, why not ask him? ;) If players could be inspected then ya, we would be back at gear checks which I find a horrible situation.

Covered that in my original post. But like I said, I didn't think of gear checks and such. This was more a roleplay request.

That site has a really good start for finding out what armor weight looks like what based on motif, level and quality (as all three can change the visual outcome).

JUST NEED MORE PEOPLE TO UPLOAD.
The site is new so it still has a lot of gaps, so take quick screenshots and submit them!

Would rather see an option when crafting gear to see what it looks like on my avatar before I craft it vs any kind of inspection of other players

This is also a great idea.
