A couple (few?) weeks ago, the Bastian Nymic lead for the Glyphic Secrets music box was available from Filer Ool. I'd long since given up any effort to farm that lead. All leads from BN simply aren't worth the effort or time commitment. Even when it was new and everybody was running multiple times a day.

[edit] Forgot to add.. I'm all for moving it to a new source. Though making them always available for purchase from a vendor would be a bit much IMO.

At the very least, we need two lead vendors in the IA, one to sell Mythic leads, and one to sell furnishing leads. And both should have a bigger inventory of furnishing plans.

We really need to be able to rotate through the vast catalogue of leads and plans more quickly than the lamentably slow drip that we get now.

We also need vendors to sell RNG non-fragment leads. The two vendors only sell fragments right now. For example, there are leads that drop from the daily Cyrodiil conquest coffers, but they're not mythics or music boxes (they're individual items), so they're never for sale. How do players who don't go into Cyrodiil but want to complete the codex get these leads?

The only ones I can think of are the Dwarven lancers, and I don’t think I would agree on getting those from another source. They are not a furnishing and cannot be used outside of Cyrodiil.

What's so special about them? I can buy leads from trials without ever doing a trial. Same with dungeons. If I want to complete the codex, why can't I buy the lancers?

Generally, the argument for purchasing leads is to have furnishings for housing and these are not. The other is mythic items. If you don’t PvP then you have no use for them. I guess that is up to the devs as to whether just completing the codex is a reason to make them available.
