This is a huge blow to tanking not using traditional taunts, and frankly, this change sucks ass and just makes tanking sustain harder then it allready is, especislly on tanks with horrible sustain (templar), and reducing build variety, please only add magica cost with battle spirit active
But the support morph is Ele Drain, which is free.
The reason all supports were using Ele Sus instead of Ele Drain was that Ele Sus is so ridiculously overloaded, and essentially made it so a support could DPS with one (free!) skill.
The cost on Ele Sus is completely justified. If you have to use Ele Sus as your only source of Breach, switch to Ele Drain and hit it half as much since it lasts for a full minute.

No, supports use ele sus for the chilled status effect and possibility to have an okay uptime on minor brittle if you were good at reapplying it every 4 sec (not warden or arca tanks) , ele drain does not apply chilled, which means you no longer proc minor breach with wall of elements.
Now tanks not using puncture have to pray one of ur pugs or friends wants to play something that applies chilled, or have to loose 3.3k mag just to apply a simple breach and minor breach, including having to taunt the enemy first.
The proposed mag cost is way to heavy handed
Vengeance has clearly lost a noticeable number of players after experiencing the 5th bonus sets. That period felt like a dopamine overload, builds were more dynamic, fights were faster, and 1vXing felt rewarding. Now that it’s gone, the current version of Vengeance feels significantly slower and, honestly, boring in comparison.
Going on a 6-month stretch without sets is going to hurt the campaign. The contrast is too big, and once players get used to that level of engagement, it’s hard to keep them interested with a stripped-down version.
I’m saying this after playing Vengeance every single day for the past month, the difference in player excitement and retention is very noticeable.
Please bring back 5th piece bonuses and we will keep buying ESO+ for the mythics too.

It would also help tremendously if Battle Spirit and the "against players" tag were used more in adjustments made for PvP, to keep them from negatively impacting PvE. This change is going to make WW in group content start being a meme again.
We need to stop with the entire "hurr durr don't let PvE suffer" argument. PvE isn't "fairy tale land" content where balance doesn't exist and never needs adjustments. I'd argue that PvE balance wise is in a worse state than PvP with how absurd power creep has become. Honestly the PvE community needs a massive "cope pill" and realise that balance is healthy for them as well in the long run.
I absolutely cannot understand why ppl cry about balance in PvE. Seriously what is the difference if I have 150k dps or 180k?
In PvP this 20% is a MASSIVE difference, but PvE? So I will kill boss 20 seconds later? What's the difference? Seriously balancing game around PvE seems ridiculous from my perspective.
As far as I know EVERY class can complete EVERY PvE content in this game.

So by that logic, balance only matters when a class literally becomes incapable of clearing content?
I guess we can stop balancing PvE altogether then. If every class can technically kill the boss eventually, why bother with DPS, sets, rotations, parses, leaderboards, or optimization? Just equip whatever you want and wait an extra 20 seconds.
Also, saying “every class can complete every PvE content” isn't really the impressive argument you think it is. That's the minimum requirement for viability, not proof that the classes are balanced.
People optimizing for 180k instead of 150k aren't doing it because they somehow forgot that the boss eventually dies. They're playing an MMO where optimizing performance is literally part of the endgame.
You're absolutely free not to care about a 20% PvE difference. But “I don't care about it” and “it doesn't matter” are two very different statements.

“PvE balance doesn't matter” is a pretty funny take coming from someone who clearly spends more time looking at PvP balance than PvE.
The game literally has PvE scoreboards and leaderboards. If PvE were just “can you kill the boss eventually?”, those systems wouldn't exist in the first place.
Speed clears, score pushing, parses, optimized builds and competitive trial groups are all part of PvE. So yes, performance differences matter.
Nobody is asking for every class to be identical. We're asking for classes to have a reasonable level of balance so that choosing one class over another isn't an objectively better decision for optimized PvE.
So maybe take your own cope pill, step out of Cyrodiil for five minutes, and remember that PvE is also an actual competitive part of the game.

DK’s Core of Flame resource return needs to go. This is being widely discussed across multiple threads, not just in the PTS section but throughout the forums. Removing the resource return from Core of Flame would address a huge portion of the current problems with DK and help prevent us from being stuck in an overwhelmingly DK-dominated PvP meta for the next 6+ months.
If you address Core of Flame and Conservation of Energy sustain, alongside the Werewolf nerfs that have already been implemented, PvP would be left in a significantly healthier state heading into the upcoming months of content drought.
How Core of Flame wasn’t even mentioned in the first weeks’ feedback summary is beyond me, considering how extensively it has been discussed. It is arguably the hottest balance topic on the forums right now.

I agree. @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_Kevin is there a reason you guys are so silent on this?

I am at a point, after 10+ years of ZOS doing everything the exact opposite of player feedback that with this "new direction" @ZOS_JessicaFolsom and @ZOS_Kevin the only reason it is quietly being swept under the rug is because they simple do not want to have to publicly walk back any of the DK rework changes.
With the layoffs and now the high expectations of class reworks that have been massively post-poned, reverting or addressing anything on the first class rework would be an admittance of failure.

I mean, they went nuclear with the werewolf changes. That looks like a lop-sided ‘walking back’ to me. Also, they mentioned using masteries to increase other classes and I assumed this PTS would show that in-part but I’ve seen nothing either despite them having clearly acknowledged the difference in power between reworked and non-reworked.
My guy you can look through the years of all fhe things that got nerfed in PvE because it was too strong in PvP. Literally it's been happening for ages. You're also completely missing the point in favor of making an argument that falls flat given the years of things that have gotten nerfed overall because of PvP; the whole reason WW Skills were made so cheap was so Mag chars could viably play them. But with most of the WW toolkit, including the spammable, now costing as much Stam as it does without a return of WW's old Stam Recovery, Mag chars are again pretty much locked out of playing a WW. On top of that now they'll all just flock to Sorc for CoE.
Real great for build diversity right? Shoehorn WW back to Stam builds only AND all of them being Sorcs.
