Some of you may remember the character that Charles Martinet voiced for TES V: Skyrim — Paarthurnax, an ancient dragon who has been around since the First Era. I really like the philosophical discussions that this character has with the player character.
So, I can think of two solutions that would make sense for casting Charles in ESO:
- Bringing back Paarthurnax as a story character in a future storyline/expansion/season. We know this character is alive in the first through fourth eras, so a story set in the correct location in Tamriel's second era could feature him.
- A new character made for Charles, such as a new Companion. So many people love Sharp-as-Night for his voice actor and personality, and I believe that a character voiced by Charles Martinet with similar philosophical discussions as Paarthurnax would be an instant fan favorite.
I'm a huge fan of Charles Martinet, and after getting to attend a live Q&A featuring him over the weekend, I'm confident that he would accept that role if he was asked to voice a character for The Elder Scrolls Online.
