The pvp community is "self entitled" because unconcerned people like you come around our threads where we complain about an issue that keeps happening over and over and telling us to just accept it, beliteling our feelings about this recurring problem we have to face every now and then, because you are not impacted. In light of recent events and the fact that customer confidence is at what I believe to be an all-time low, was now really the right time to remove a well-established game mode like Grey Host and replace it with a live-server test?

Regardless of the purpose of the test, or whether someone supports Vengeance or opposes it, that's not the point. No matter who approved this project or when it was given the green light, you would think that someone on the development team would have recognized the current state of the community and either canceled the test or, at the very least, postponed it.

To me, this reflects a level of disconnect from the player base that has become increasingly difficult to ignore. It also gives the impression that player concerns are being dismissed, and unfortunately, that has seemed to be the pattern.

It's genuinely sad because so many people love ESO and continue to support the game with their time, money, and passion. Yet, time and again, many of us are left feeling as though that loyalty is neither valued nor returned.

Of course they can, but as adults, is not on "what" is more on "how", i can quote here a lot of really helpful comments, is what i called on my original comment as really useful feedback.

I made a recent feedback on how on a post here ZOS need to give priority to class refreshes and some serious bug fixes, very different than "you are breaking MY game, you own me, the world will colapse and we are all doomed" comments that i have seen here since i started to look on the forums, these things, at least to me, sounds spoiled and very unhelpful, the self entitlement is not just about being a customer is about thinking that you are part of some genious group that knows better than everyone what is the best course for action for that matter (PVP on our case)

A lot of people do not even respond the polls or simply do not participate on forums (was my case for a long time) not because they do not care but because they are tired of behaviors like that, this can lead to we believe that is the majority of people thinks on an certain way when the reality is that is just the more "vocal" and organized group that have the patience to participate

Just go check it out and have some fun participating in the large-scale PvP fights. Or not, if you're too stubborn to stop hating on Vengeance for even a single week. But if you think that a show of hands will somehow make ZOS reopen Gray Host before this weeklong test is up, I think you're going to be very disappointed.

Without dragging previous comments into this, I am so LOL'ing over the various reaction to my "this is not a poll" comment. Kudos to at least one commenter who essentially said "it's a petition," to which I respond, "fair enough and thank you for responding to what I actually said." I don't expect that it will change anything in the present aside from giving people a(nother) place to vent their dislike of Vengeance, but it might affect something in the future.

Yeah but you are boiling it down to one comment the person made when they have made plenty, as well as several other people on the last 5+ threads that have been opened in the last week because of the issue of GH being closed yet again, whre people have given suggestions. I have also suggested plenty of things, each comment made by someone isn't going to be signed off with all their proposed fixes at the end of it.

I have no doubt that had some good feedbacks on other times, i have seen some. At the same time, a lot of nonsense too (not you specificaly) not one or twice i've seen people ignoring ZOS takes on the matter (heal stackin for example) just to persist on their own (wrong imo) position.

Other thing that is part of what i said, go to the posts and see the horror show of some self entitled specialists saying "get out of here pve/housing player", i know that nobody control others behaviors or intentions, but seeing nobody of the PVP community repreending such people really is not a good "marketing"

Every single time I come back to ESO they have this stupid vengeance test and I end up uninstalling the game. Played the vengeance mode a few times and I hate it.

It’s a watered down version of PvP. If this is the direction of PvP in this game going forward please tell us so we can move on to another game and not ever think about coming back to that booty game mode

Seriously, this is my and my friends' situation, we just want to play the pvp we spent so much time learning but instead are met with a royal "F you" by ZOS shoving yet again another "test" for now a year straight. How many more tests, and seriously how useful will this be seeing ZOS' dev team is struggling with releasing their promised updates. Can this company please stop mocking our intelligence and just let us play the game for however short it will last.

PC EU primetime, we had EP 3 bars Monday, DC 3 bars Tuesday, AD 3 bars Wednesday. Keep the test running; maybe over the weekend we will manage to hit 3 bars on all 3 factions simultaneously, so we can see if lag becomes even more severe.

Between nerfing the one mythic that allowed many classes to be viable, letting DKs run rampant on every aspect of pvp, the layoffs and the unpromising short future of the game, and now shoving this campaign the vast majority just absolutely abhore, it really takes some skill to be this oblivious to how their players feel.

Agreed, making Shattered Paths unusable in PvP wasn't necessary.

It was overpowered before U50, that part is fair. But the werewolf rework and class masteries pushed everyone into max health builds, and once people got that tanky, pulse gankers couldn't insta kill anyway. In that meta the mythic wasn't the problem, it was one of the few things keeping builds outside of DK and werewolf competitive. Nerfing it this hard just narrows what is actually viable.

This weird parasocial stockholm syndrom that pvp players developped should be a case study lmfao. We've had "tests" for a year straight and absolutely NOTHING changed in Grey Host in terms of lag, it's doing absolutely nothin and they dropped their mask when theiy reveaed that some form of vengeance is there to stay. This is what pvp is heading to, a dumbed down numbers game where everything is leveled down.

I would agree with you if this were a one-off. The problem is that it has been running for over a year now, with the home campaigns closing for one to two weeks each time and no indication of when that stops.

The Blackreach situation is also what sticks with me. Not long ago we had to push to get it reopened because Gray Host queues were sitting at 100+ and Vengeance was on one bar.
