No running around with friends from other platforms out in the wild. And hopefully no market crash if platforms can crossplay.
In a nutshell, personal I don't expect much from crossplay.
And making it a 30 years game, no biggie. Finally kill the console servers and alow players remote play with their M$ or Sony accounts on the pc-servers, character migration included for free.
And before the rage starts: I am PS-EU console player just trying to stay realistic.

The first take is so wrong, if they successfully implement cross play there's absolutely no reason (technically and conceptually) why it would be only in dungeons/arena/trials lol
It's so needed, console PvP is dying really fast

They have to stop parts of the website like Crown Store. Dunno how to manage this game anymore. -.-

Yeah that was a weird one. They could have had (don't come at me) AI generate it and a human proof read it.. would have taken like 30 minutes max of actual work.. kind of wild.
And before you all rage.. every game studio is using ai in some capacity and if you think they aren't you're lying to yourself.

IS crossplay still on the cards for the future of ESO?
If thats still being prioritised I feel that will ease a lot of tention in the community knowing eso isn't going anywhere.

If crossplay has been scrapped I don't see myself continuing to purchase things in game and probably start to wind down on my time spent in game.
The game NEEDS crossplay, maybe not right now but in the future as cyrodiil gets quiter and the zones start to become quiter like the older base zones it will be needed.
And if theres no crossplay then theres no future for this game its plain nd simple.

re-assurance goes a long way all we ask is for a "Yes although it has been pushed back or may take longer"

This game has a huge number of solo players who have been waiting for TES 6 for years. For them, crossplay is completely irrelevant, but new quests and zones are crucial for maintaining interest in the world. Having two questlines, each with eight quests, for an entire year, and no new areas to explore, is incredibly disappointing. Especially now that we know all of this happened before the map layouts were even finalized. So, from my perspective, new, consistent quests and areas are essential to keep people engaged. Also, the housing community with new assets.
For the long term health of the game, I think class reworks and crossplay should be the priority before any more watered down content like they’ve been rolling out lately. Almost every MMO in existence now that has a console client has crossplay and there’s no way this game survives another 5 years let alone the mythic “30” they once envisioned without it.
