It's so cool that Werewolf-oriented guilds are more active in Update 50

As a longtime Werewolf player, I've been in several werewolf-oriented guilds and talked with many Werewolf players over the years. However, many of these older guilds lost traction as their members moved on from ESO or moved to other guilds.

What I really like about Update 50, which had the Werewolf combat and visual refresh, is that many of these Werewolf players and guilds have returned to the game. There are some players who haven't logged on in years who came back to ESO just for the new Werewolf! Many of my old friends are now more active in the game.

Further, it's so cool that we're seeing a lot more Werewolf-oriented guilds doing guild events. I'm meeting people I've never met before, and it's been a blast talking with these people about Werewolf and our hopes for its future.

I want to take a moment to really thank ZeniMax and Bethesda for making this a reality. Unlike the Dragonknight rework, you don't need pre-existing knowledge of ESO to care about this refresh. As such, you can advertise the Werewolf refresh to communities of people who may not have given ESO a try otherwise.

For instance, Bethesda commissioned WolfSkullJack to make this promotional artwork to promote Update 50's Werewolf refresh:

(definitely do check out the timelapse of this art piece by visiting the upload on X (Formerly Twitter)!)

If you don't already know who WolfSkullJack is, she's an incredibly skilled artist who has made artwork for the likes of Metallica, Magic! The Gathering, and Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Getting artwork from this artist to promote The Elder Scrolls Online is a really big deal.

As such, I've seen people from communities outside of ESO talking about the Werewolf refresh ESO got. I believe the Werewolf refresh appeals to a much wider audience than ESO has, and I believe this marketing plays a big role in bringing so many people to ESO. Hence, all of the active Werewolf guilds this patch.

Once again, I am absolutely thrilled that Werewolf got a refresh at all, that this refresh has a broad reach that appeals to communities outside of the Elder Scrolls Online community, and that many Werewolf players (new and old) are playing ESO now to experience it. It's so cool that Werewolf guilds are more active now.

Do you know if Scourge Alliance is still around? I had their GM on my friends list and he used to invite me to "Werewolf Wednesdays" in Cyrodiil lol

I actually haven't interacted with them in a while. I know some of their members are back to playing in Cyrodiil this patch, though!
