I confess that with each new monthly survival guide that gets published, my heart breaks a little more. It seems that there's always at least one battleground weekend, maybe a golden pursuit. Naturally, there have been bold experiments like the Night Market and before that, the Writhing Wall. But why can't we get some of our old standbys like Gilded Glory or the Explorer's Celebration again? I think the crime mini-event that happened over the last year-ish was fairly popular, but it doesn't seem like there will be another one anytime soon. And wasn't it teased around New Year's that you would be trying the Crafter's Celebration again sometime in 2026 - just hopefully without the same transmute crystal exploit that soured it the first time around?
I think I get why you folks are trying new things with your seasons approach. If you aren't going to pull together a new zone for us to explore every year like in the old days, you're trying out these sprawling, weeks-long events in temporary demizones and adding new content to existing ones, among other things. I just ask that you don't forget some of the "old" things that really worked, as well. The Explorer's Celebration in particular had something for everyone whether they liked to farm mats, catch up on treasure maps, or grind champion points in BRP, etc.
