An alt account got hacked back in March and subsequently banned. Within a few days this was discovered and Support was contacted (ticket ID : 260324-003254). This was March 24th.
Tech support responded -1 week- later :

Greetings,

Thank you for contacting the ZeniMax Player Safety Team. I understand you have a concern about an action taken on your account. I can see, however, that you have contacted us with a different account.
(questions were asked and verifications were requested)
....

to which appropriate responses were given immediately, and proof of account ownership was provided, albeit in multiple responses. Then, -2 weeks later- (4/13/2026) I receive :

Greetings!

Thank you for contacting The Zenimax Safety Team. We appreciate you providing us with the necessary information.

Please note: We handle account tickets from the oldest to newest. As you continue to update or submit new tickets, this will continue to move the ticket as a new ticket, which delays the time an agent can investigate this account. In the future, we ask that you do not continue to update or submit new tickets but wait for assistance.

Following a review of this account, we can see it was proactively deactivated as we identified it as being compromised.

So all of these suggestions were also followed, all questions were again answered, in a single response this time. Then, on 4/18/2026 the following was sent :

Before we can assist you further with reactivating your account, if you haven't already, please can you review the following and provide us with confirmation...

to which confirmation was again provided immediately. And then.... Silence. Nothing is happening, nothing is done, for over a month now.

Now, I love you guys - I really do. I'm an older guy with a lot of money and this is my favorite game in 44 years of computer gaming, going back to Ultima and Wizardry Proving Grounds. It's no exaggeration to say I've spent north of $14k on ESO since beta on various accounts - receipts are available, and they make for delicious reading. The account in question had been played since 2017, albeit mostly during events, at least for the past few years. I had never missed an event...until this happened, and Support decided to blow me off. That account now has missed substantial rewards from the numerous events that have occurred - no anniversary cake for this year, no hearts week. That's really lame.

But, what's more, ESO Support had already acknowledged that the ban was pro-active, and all requested verifications were given and queries were answered. To then go over a month without any follow up is exceedingly infuriating, and it is certainly not helped by being told to not request followups due to it moving the discussion to the "back of the line" (which is insulting, frankly - you must think khajiit is a raging ****** idiot to try and convince him that your system can't tell the difference between a brand new ticket and a followup request for a ticket discussion chain in progress. Seriously?)

So, please help, somebody? Please? Who do I have to call or email or send chocolates to for simple follow-up service that I would have thought 10+ years, $14k+, and >25k hours on multiple accounts should have earned me 2 months ago? With all due respect, this is outrageous.

Sorry if this sounds rude, but I feel like I have been more than patient waiting as long as I have to have access restored to an account that itself had over $2k spent on it. And to be honest, being told to shush when I ask for followups is beyond rude. Besides, I was born in the late 60s. Rude is my default mother-****** setting, and it's a constant struggle, particularly in situations like this, confronted by either malice or abject incompetence, to not resort to old reliable.
