But when I went in on PCEU a short while ago, I couldn't see any other players around, and I got insta-killed (twice) by the first "mob" I encountered just inside the entry to the zone, so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to find any other players to zerg around with.
And I won't even get into how long it took me just to find the plaza so I could do the introductory quest, because I was running around Fargrave looking for a way in-- but apparently the only way to get in is to take a wayshrine in? So that was fun.
I want to give this new group content a chance-- and yes, I know it's group content, not solo content-- but it seems to be on the level of difficulty of a hard-mode veteran trial or something. I don't expect everything in the game to be accessible for me and completable by me, but I'm hoping to at least give this new content a chance before deciding whether to pkay it or forget it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll even be able to give it a try, the way it's looking right now.
Maybe it will be different on PCNA, but PCEU is looking like a complete no-go at the hours when I play, because apparently there aren't enough players online at those hours who are interested in this new content.

Whose this "we" you speak of?
I want to enjoy the game, I DON`T want to be frustrated. Looks like my account will go into cold storage ESO.

While waiting for grouping with my guildies, I had a generic PO build on and yes, it was tough but mostly doable. A boss took ages, though. Once I had some in a group I had to switch to a non-PO setup and noticed immediately that it's not really going to work solo, so I went to the central market and waited for the rest of my guildies to arrive.
It's a group area. Go as a group, or follow a group. Don't wait for anyone to pick you up when you die, just respawn. The respawn places are quite close so it's not far to run back to the fight.

I mean, beyond the first golden pursuit (starter quest), I won't be doing any of the golden pursuits - and I'm fine with that, but having a seasonal tomes task that is also Night Market seems quite like adding insult to injury. I was fine passing on the Night Market but now am more than a little peeved having it contaminate tomes as well.
Well, as a 4-year ESO Plus member, when I’m paying for it then I should get what I want! 😅

You’re wrong, just type +zerg tomorrow I’ll carry you :P we already smashed 2750 points, EUPC.
Don’t get why you want harder overworld content. First time there’s anything slightly challenging and forum is full of “I can’t solo group content” posts xD hello, this is MMO.
Event isn’t even hard. Also you can completely skip it, just get your motif and don’t continue, there’s not even that much reward in it.
Game is already extremely easy, only vet trials and DLC dungeons are actually fun.
Stop pushing this, I’m afraid they’ll take it in the wrong direction.

Well, I’ve been a beta tester and an ESO Plus subscriber for 12 years now, and I’m having a blast. Are you really trying to play the "but I’m paying for it" card?
Imagine being frustrated just because you can't solo a trial or other content specifically designed for groups.

I’m just saying that it’s those of us who are paying that keeps the game going, and don’t even try to deny that…money, money, money!
And if this was advertised as a group-only event then okay that’s understandable. 😅
I agree with you OP and anyone that is saying they can solo it must be using hacks cos even large guild groups are saying it's hard. I went in with my hubby and our companions in our IA builds and we couldnt get past second group of mobs and we had a couple of random players killing mobs with us. It was very sad to watch them try and then fall down like potatoes.
It's heart breaking cos i love to give all eso content a good go but with this i hardly got started...no chance. Who on earth is testing these events on pts.

On another note, Zos I find the night market too easy. Me n my duo beat many of the bosses ourselves, including the roaming ones in the first two districts we went to, the ones that are not the Parch.
For this reason I think you should consider giving the difficulty a buff for serious pvers who are used to IA.
Then if people find the difficulty too much, you can make Vengeance templates for them and test it out for a week.

Thank you for making me almost spit out my coffee.
While I get the humor you're putting into this post..
I kind of agree... the content wasn't that bad. I went in solo at first while I was waiting for some guildies to log on and the first mob I ran into I.. well.. let's not talk about that.
It is meant for group content - I don't get why everyone is throwing a fit.
Shoot... I remember for years reading on the forums about how easy the game had become.. people were getting mad update after update because they were "making it more accessible" or making it less challanging as a whole etc.. and now people are complaining about this content being too hard.
The content is supposed to be hard.. the content is meant to be grouped...
Don't listen to the haters ZoS - there are tons of things in the game for solo's to do. My group had a blast last night playing this and didn't find it "too hard".. it was just the right amount of hard.

I am one of those players lol I get so frustrated wondering why zos makes all their newest content softer than wet tissue paper and then see here on the forums that said content is allegedly "Too difficult and an insult to the community".
I was actually shocked they had the courage here to make Night Market challenging and not totally accessible to people who dont want to work together. You can only get so far solo/duo. And that actually made it MORE fun. Its an MMO for crying out loud, wheres the hard "mass multiplayer" content?
Please for the love of Shor @ZOS_GinaBruno tell Zos to not listen to the forum posts asking you for softer content or to nerf this. There's room for both and the game desperately needs more content like the Night Market, its awesome.
The only criticism I guess I could really give is the loot hasn't been all that great, but I mean it comes with a free house thats very stylish so I can't complain there too much.
