Battlepass change was stated as solving FOMO & fatigue from endeavor seals BUT..

First, never felt FOMO nor fatigue via Endeavor Seals 1.0, and play on EU PC & NA PC megaservers.

However, with the Battlepass and.. what is kind of Endeavor Seals 2.0 now, cough tome coins cough trade bars.. Still no FOMO experienced, but the fatigue is now present and intense!

With the 1.0 endeavor system, I'd on a single day collect 10 cloth plants on EU and 10 on NA, for a total of 20 for the day.

With the Battlepass 2.0 system, last night collected 90 cloth plants on EU and 90 cloth plants on NA, for a total of 180.

Invariably someone will point out we could [if we log in on Monday or Tuesday, merely collect 15 on EU and 15 on NA, no more for that day, for a total of 30, and do the same on the next day and next day, that would be less fatiguing. But does anyone here on the forums, actually do this?

Also not keen with the Battlepass objectives leaning hard on say, mine 15 ore, six times, vs how daily endeavor seals 1.0 worked. Used up tons of surveys this week, and if I do not run daily writs on tons of alts, on EU PC and NA PC, that supply will dry up fast.

Overall if I had one suggestion to improve the Battlepass system, would be to significantly reduce the repetition of each weekly task, and increase the tome coin value of each task by a good amount. Atm the Battlepass design seems to expect the players to only play ESO and not respect the time of players very much, and is very time sink in its design.

And the 80+ days task of kill 1000 foes in 2 or 3 zones.. no suggestion on how to improve that, but I cringe on reading it.
Especially as that will be 2000 foes for me across both EU PC and NA PC. [maybe consider and keep in mind, that some of us play on more than one megaserver, so any number you attach to a task is going to be doubled or worse for us.]

    Basically, yes. Unless the task is something like "Unlock a treasure chest," repeatable x5, I've never completed any of those in 1 day. And the reason that's the task I'm able to easily complete without going out of my way is because all overland chests and safeboxes count towards it. Those tasks will still be there tomorrow, and if I start it, they'll be there next week also if I didn't finish it. And then with the rerolls, I can get rid of tasks I don't want to do and see if I can line up the same tasks and double dip.

    This Golden Pursuit is actually a great time to get the kill 1k done, completely separate from cheesing by killing squirrels and mudcrabs. Grouping up allows everyone to get credit for kills, the pursuits want you to kill WB's, and they spawn adds. I advanced that more with friends in about 30 minutes than I did alone competing with everyone else doing it during a longer time frame.

    I barely ever touched the endeavour seal challenges unless they were extra big reward ones. With this new system, I at least have a reason to work towards a higher tier.. Not that it's great that I feel the need to do that, but it's something to do.

    At least anyone who buys the pass does not lose out on stuff if we take a break, just challenges.

    I do reroll challenges to get the easiest bang for the buck, though, which is nice to have as an option.

    i feel like the endeavors were more consistent, small daily tasks and then a longer weekly task

    the tomes is all weekly tasks which is why it feels overwhelming, though if you only do 1 clear per day, you would still finish it within a week

    like the kill 1000 enemies had 90 days to complete that, thats an avg of 12-13 kills per day if you took the time, though just doing a couple WBs would give you far more than 12 kills in the day

    The new system is a lot more repetative. It's do this one thing 6 times. What a half dozen of those? When the dailies were dalies there was almost no repeats in the week. And things we used to have that can't be repeated as easily like refine materials is gone. How is the boring boring do it over and over and over again better?

    It's not! I hate the new system.
