Patch dropped today and you can still queue from non-CP to CP IC and vice versa without restriction. Come on now. They're monitoring these threads, too.

Zero reason to care. They won't be fixing it for a very long time. Is what it is.

IC can both be hopping and dead. Nothing has been debunked.

PC, both servers, up and down, primetime both servers, most days.
No more boss groups. not seeing daily questers, sewers are empty. On NA its just blue all night the same small man group swarming on anyone who does come in for the flag, so maybe a few singles that get swarmed. I don't see any of the usual folks I used to see waiting to hop down. On EU its a bit better but the volume is really down.

Both these zones have already been difficult enough to exit. For example if I run an EP toon and am at Black Boot I have to port (or ride) back to an EP territory and then use a wayshrine. Or, prior to this patch I could just queue for IC and leave through the sewers. Either way I have never understood why these zones are so difficult to exit. From every other zone (including the dungeons) if at anytime I want to leave I can just port out.
Instead of fixing this I feel it has become worse. I don’t want to be chasing portals just to leave a zone.
I really do not see myself going back into to IC or Cyrodiil until this is done correctly.

Was just as shocked as you were at first, plus some other things that happened along with it. IC and I are getting along somewhat better for now. But if you're going to be spending any significant amount of time there (as before) then you may want to make some changes cause gankers are everywhere now and they are getting stronger all the time so. And the 'mod' will not queue you for the other IC Camp if you are carrying over 100 Telvars. In short... plan ahead or suffer tha wrath.

This patch got implemented, and now (at least on PCNA) IC feels less alive than it was before. There are fewer fights, not as many groups, and no room for anyone who isn’t in a group or is a PvP master.

And the great irony is that you can still port from CP to No-CP server the same way you could port to Cyro.

Can you do that with Telvar above the limit? Where do you "go" when you port?

I discovered that you can jump to other Cyrodiil campaigns yesterday, but I gave up IC with this change. Got ganked a few times before I fully realized it. I am not a PvPer, but I had run the dailies there at times (or collected the skyshards). Now I just stay away.

What bugs me even more here is those claiming the old system was an "exploit" when it was not anyplace close to that since no one ever got a ban for doing it. I have piled up some TV over the years, but that is mostly because I never spend it but earned some in the events. No desire now. Too bad since it has cut off some of the questlines I might do on alts.

AND you still have to go up and down ladders to gather the 6 dailies. Fixing that would be much better than this change!

You can port between IC servers with as much Tel Var as you want. It brings you right to the alliance base, where you first enter IC when you accept the queue, so you can go to the banker or just exit through the door.

I just feel that this was change that didn't need to be made. Everything was fine as it was.
