Seasonal challenge 1000 enemies - Delves and Public dungeons not counting

Delves and public dungeons within wrothgar, hew's bane and gold coast are not counting towards progress. I would assume story instances as well but have not tried it yet

Confirmed enemies in Gold Coast delves are not counting towards the challenge.

I hope this is a bug and not intentional. As things are now, the overland is overloaded with players competing to kill rabbits, durzogs, bandits, harpies, anything that moves.

Can also now confirm that inside Sorrow while on that quest in Wrothgar, kills don't count.

So it needs to be clarified if these are actual bugs and unforeseen issues or whether it’s by design. Was it actually tested, because it would be seen right away? What I see here is poor processes.

They could have saved a lot of time and a lot of typing by actually being up front in the interface and stating what counts as the zone and what doesn’t. it is not unreasonable to a player to expect that the zone includes things like delves and public dungeons. Before launching the system doing some basic checks on what happens when a player does this or this would have highlighted these issues. Considering that we’ve had acknowledgment that updates and releases in 2025 were poor and that zos will do better. there is not much sign of that. I have 30 years as an IT professional and I know poor workmanship and bad practices when I see it.
