Nervously Awaiting Werewolf Article

Hi yes it's me again, we were promised a werewolf post today about Update 50, and I'm nervously waiting.

What's everyone's hopes, worries, and realistic expectations?
Hoping for more playable races.

I just want werewolf to be viable in endgame PvE T.T (which not allowed according to PTS update 50)

    I'm going to compare the werewolf puns in this article to the werewolf puns made in the Update 42 patch notes. Maybe I'll make a tier list ranking the best ones.

    Werewolf Should be Allowed to Sneak Prowling added in Update 50!
    Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color) Added in Update 50!, Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

    As much as I wish we had it, I don't think we're getting the ability to sneak, nor are we getting any Werewolf Scribing Grimoires in Update 50. We're probably also not getting a Werewolf Companion or Werewolf added to Vengeance this patch, either.

    I expect we'll still be able to maintain Werewolf form with the timer system being moved to the Ultimate system.

    I wonder if Carnage will lose its Execute scaling now that Gnash has Execute scaling on the second hit.

    I think the healing/damage of the abilities will be nerfed because the cost of those abilities is being reduced.

    I bet we'll have more fur on the Werewolf model after all of that feedback from the forums and on Reddit.

    Maybe we'll get a bit more Movement Speed or an increased Movement Speed cap while transformed?

    I'm almost certain the Terrified effect will be revisited or removed.

    Hopefully we're given an actual crossheal or heal over time. Would be nice to have Minor Resolve, too.

    Yeah I admittedly couldn't care less about puns and how 'fun' it is to read, and I'm a little worried that it's such a strong focus from the devs, but hopefully it's not a reflection upon the work being put into it.
    And yeah sadly I think you're right about most of these things. I think the main focus of werewolf, mechanics wise will be to streamline it, make it play more 'normally'. Numbers brought in line with everything else, but hopefully given enough tools and Major/Minor buffs to stand on it's own otherwise.

    Which isn't my upmost favored approach, but I'll reserve judgment until I actually see and even play it on the 13th.

    I truly do hope we see or at least hear more about the model work though, and if it's been made more wolf-like.
