✭✭✭✭✭It lags.... cuz Tamriel Tome task is limited to only 3 zones... so you have all those people stacked up in those 3 zones & servers can't keep up with creating additional instances of those zones.
It all started with Tamriel Tomes, cuz this new system kinda forces players to do certain content & same content.
Yet again I got the task to kill Kvach arena boss. When I arrived the arena was already laggy & swarmed with other players.
I re-rolled the task & I got a task to kill a boss in Clodharbour public dungeon. When I arrived there... that boss was also camped. So that means that there are simply just a handful of tasks that make people go to same location, stack & lag them.2 -

Not sure tbh, I was doing EH2 for the... 'task', which is instanced content and the game was like reacting to inputs is optional actually.
Ping was OK according to the meter, still missing casts/actions.2 -
Dimorphos✭✭✭✭I wouldn't freak out about this but truly.. We need to suffer these server issues way too much and way too often. Sadly this game is known for this problem, and it is a major problem that will keep out some part, maybe even a big part of potential new players.
Why go for all those big changes and creating a whole new road map for the game, when the hardware side is the one that needs immediate attention. I believe this is only a hardware/technical issue that can be solved with a little investment. Surely that investment will pay itself in the future. You said you wish to see at least another 10 years of ESO and even more. Can't run things with a toaster.2 -

— They always claim they’re “investigating” the causes, but in reality they’re just waiting until the PC EU players go to bed. Once that happens, you can suddenly log in again and they happily mark the issue as Fixed.0 -
