Do we need to organise some sort of fundraiser for ZOS.
5 Tri-Restoration Potions.
Are you serious.
This is just...mystifying.
We all just got done reading end of year communication that said they understood and agreed that rewards need improvement this year.
And then, the first rewards of the year are the most low-key bland stuff I've ever seen from this feature.
This was a simple, easy, no-brainer opportunity to spice things up, even just a little bit, at no hard cost or significant time/resource investment.
It could have been as simple as "Our favorite Crown Crates from 2025" with a different (not currently on sale) 1x Crate on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. Maybe go crazy and do 2 on the 28th. Or a different luxury furnishing from 2025 at the end of each week. It doesn't have to be a house or a DLC.
Yes, I know these are "free" rewards. And I know I can delete them (and I do). But it also feels like the first whiffed opportunity of 2026 when we're all crossing our fingers for 1/7.
The whole point of login rewards is to encourage logins. Encourage the chase of later-in-the-month shinies. This does not accomplish that. At all.
...sigh...
Another proof that the strategy of offering "better" itens changed from daily login rewards to golden pursuits.Cooperharley wrote: »Yea idk what’s going on at ZOS man. Bummer after bummer

I triggered the Hero's Return when I came back (have the xp scroll for it) but that was literally it. I never got anything else even though I know I should have. So I'm not sure what it's actually supposed to do.

For me this boils down to "If you're gonna do it, do it right".
The goal of a daily rewards system is to increase logins and drive metrics up. It's painfully clear that months like this will not drive logins. Who's going to go out of their way to log in 20+ days for 4 Rosin or 2,000 gold?
It doesn't have to be crazy valuable stuff, either. And old crown crate, maybe an exclusive skill style, a cute pet. Some LuxFurn from 6 months ago.
I'm just spitballing but what if Day #21 were an icon of a ticket and clicking it enters me into a drawing to win 10,000 crowns?
If this feature has outlived its usefulness, put it out of it's misery and direct folks to pursuits and endeavors because I think this is worse than not doing it at all. I think a large amount of people are going to look at that calendar and feel very underwhelmed.
And to do a month like this weeks after saying they know we want better in-game rewards and they agree (!) feels really tone-deaf. This was an opportunity for quick, low effort "See we're listening!" and they passed on it. Weird.
