The addon wheel didn't just install itself.

Take it up with the addon author who's addon you installed that uses it.

Pretty sure they're talking about the add on wheels for emotes and companions.....wheels that should be able to be used for whatever we want, like siege or potions, rather than restricted to things we don't need to access quickly.

I don't think the OP realizes this.

I remember getting my hopes up when they announced two new quick slot wheels. Imagine my, and many others', disappointment when we found out we can't use them for things that actually need to be accessed quickly. As it was implemented we'd be better off without them.

i remember dying a few times the first week because i would hit Q for a health potion and click too soon attacking (because it was never a problem before that) and it would bring up the other wheels and you couldn't just click off. clicking would bring up the next wheel, all the while, whatever i was fighting that i needed that health potion for (and never got >.>) is killing me and i'm just standing there scrolling through wheels XD

@M0R_Gaming made an addon on PC to fix that— “No More Sticky Wheels”. I don’t know if it’s on console or not.

good to know! it has not happened to me in forever. i assume i either learned not to do it XD or they tweaked it so that it wouldn't happen as easily. i'm going to assume it's the first one though.

It happened to pretty much everyone when it first came out. My solution was to immediately unbind the keys for it so that it would never happen again. Hasn't been a problem since.

    That's a base game feature.

In this case, the OP is actually talking about an addon, LibRadialMenu, which is the closest thing that console can get to keybinds. It allows slotting certain functions of addons onto a quickslot wheel, which is by default placed as the last quickslot wheel entry (For example, you can slot the eject group/pull countdown keybind from hodors, or the reset difficulty keybind from MARA). You can see a demo of the addon at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAQ3VKhTbZc, specifically with me using it to place markers in more markers. This thread gave me the idea of allowing the user to configure where the wheel is located though, so I will upload an update for that when I get time to work on it again.

I'm actually the addon dev in question who made it required for ArtaeumGroupTool on console, which is probably why the OP has it. It allows me to re-add some core functionality of Artaeum Group Tool, which I had to remove when I ported it to console due to the lack of keybinds. I will be making it an optional dependency in the next update, as I have heard feedback that some people don't care about said core functionality.

Also, please please please post stuff like this in the addon category lol (or ping the addon dev, or even post on the esoui page for it). If it wasn't for a friend linking me the thread (and Soarora pinging me in it) then I wouldn't have seen this, as I don't browse the general category.

I’m actually in love with this quick wheel and can’t wait to see more addon developers utilising it. Finally a quick way to reloadui without having to type the whole thing into chat. Many thanks!

I went to controls and disabled the keys that brought up these wheels as fast as I could. I only keep 2 things on the base quick slot wheel and have no need for these others. They were always popping up in my face and it was beyond annoying.

I can't figure out if the OP is talking about the default add on wheels that are part of the base game, or if they're talking about an actual add on that they downloaded and added to their game.

Some clarification from the OP would help here.

When did the base game wheels start being called Add On wheels? Quick Wheels, yes.. but Add On wheels?

I assumed the OP was talking about the addon wheel from LibRadialMenu that actually is an Add On wheel since it's actually.. well, an add on.

Whichever type of wheel it is there is a solution.

If it's an add-on then just delete the add-on.
If it's base game wheels then just remove the keybinds connected to them.
