Event Phase 2 fragments for bone skill style

During phase 1 I suspected that fragments drop is tied to the progress of the phase itself. I got 25th scale by the end of the phase. Phase 2, bone fragments were dropping nice at first, 2 per day, even 4, till they stopped dropping, and now I’m stuck at 16 fragments and only getting scales. So I’m wondering again whether this drop is tied to phase progress, or is it just a capricious rng.

probably tied to compensate for players loosing interest...its just another extremely consumer / player unfriendly practice...but it perfectly fits to everything else Bethesda as an organization has done and become

Yeah, although we can see that some people are grinding like crazy and not getting fragments. So it would be to keep us engaged all throughout the phase, and make sure people don’t stop just because they got the style at 50%, and the next 50% will take a year to complete.

I like to make personal mini statistics when I am grinding a rare item.

So since Wednesday I cycle 17 toons of mine each one doing the 6 crafting dailies and on 2 or 3 toons I do the dolmen dailies.

I keep track of bone fragment drops from blue chests from the crafting dailies and only these.

From these three days when I farmed on 17 toons each day the 6 crafting dailies I've got 303 blue boxes (having deduced the 3x1 golden box) and one box giving me 2 bone fragments simultaneously. This "magic" box was on Wednesday. Yesterday and today: ZERO bone fragment.

That is annoying.

A better approach would have been to tie the progress of the wall to the completion level of collecting the items by the active player base complemented by a mechanic that allows to complete the collection when the event approaches its end.

I'm hoping these fragments (and the house) are still going to be available when the writhing wall event is over. As not being able to complete rewards due to bad RNG feels awful.

I didn't think I was going to get the Haj Mota pet at all, but folks have kindly been dropping fragments into my Guild's bank. Bone fragments, though, are rarer than the proverbial hen's teeth. Sitting at a very low count, and was extremely surprised to get 1 each from 2 golden coffers today. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket.

One. I have 1 (and I thought my Phase 1 RNG was bad only managing 2 wormwrithe pages...)

Up to 50 of the pet I already have, though. [counting the original 25, here]. Update: make that 51!

It genuinely feels like ZOS is trolling us at this point.

I only get the 3 golden boxes plus 14 blue crafting boxes every day (alchemy, enchantment, provisioning on 5 characters), and I have 19 caltrops parts now. But I'm still missing most Wormwrithe style pages.

I've bought now a few and completed it...

tried it...

and was disappointed.

I thought I'd see instead of the spikes bones on the ground. That would have been cool. But the spikes got just a recoloring and some bluish fog. Meh.

Not worth all the hustle imho.

I have had the pleasure of farming all the coffers from all the givers on 2 toons every day since the start (Which is painful and long, being how I also work full time). I have only ever gotten one item in each blue coffer and its usually an overland equipment item LOL Some are lucky others are not. They need to reset RNG LOL
