Event Phase 2 fragments for bone skill style

We need to collect 25 fragments to unlock the skill style as far as I understand.
In three and a half days I have collected 2 fragments in total and we are already at 15%. Extrapolating phase 2 will last further 14 days, so I might get 18 fragments in total.

On the other hand I am collecting like hell armor motif sets of the new work cult style but only got two single weapon style. I think considering that phase 2 will be so much shorter than phase 1 I think the requirements for the rewards are too high or the drop rates too low. (I have got none of this from blue reward boxes, only golden ones)

In the news article for the event, they wrote that collectibles from this event will stay as a reward from daily dolmen quests in Solstice. I don‘t know if this holds for the skill style fragments as well though.

Are these already meant to be dropping? All I keep getting are the fragments of the Haj Mota, which are now useless as I've already collected 25...

They drop. I already have 7. I'm still missing a huge amount of style pages, though.

And yes, the event is (as boring as it is) too short to get all collectibles, especially the style pages, with the drop rates being like this. Drop rate should be adjusted.

Ok, I've got my third fragment today. Out of 12 golden boxes.
So extrapolating I might achieve to get 10 or 11 more fragments till phase 2 ends. I will have maybe a bit more than half of the required amount of fragments to complete this.

This is not acceptable!!!

And there is ZERO fragment on the guild stores. So I could even not complete it by buying.

Really ZOS?

Please, can sb from the devs confirm that these fragments will continue to drop from dailies for the dolmen after the wall has come down?????

I mean I am really ok to miss out on a reward due to my own doing (or not doing) but simply because of bad luck or miss calculated drop rates?

I'm at 19 fragments and made the same experience: the vast majority of them came from camp chests. I will focus on those from now on and skip doing all 24 dailies on 7 characters like it did the past 2 days.

Wow you are so lucky. I am now at 5 fragments and grinded the boxes and chests like hell.

60 blue boxes, 3 golden ones today gave me the 2 fragments. But zero on camp chests.

And the silence from the devs whether the fragments will continue to drop after the event is so sad and agonizing.

I'm not loving the season pass either, but how is this different from the chapters? Only people who bought a chapter had access to its content until it became included with ESO+.

I'm getting some of the extra rewards from blue coffers, although as expected they drop much more rarely from the blue than from the gold-- but they do drop. So farming as many blue coffers as possible is a good idea if you're trying to collect all of the extra rewards (style pages, motif pages, skill style fragments, etc.).

Except, I guess if you farm blue coffers on all of your alts, you'll be helping Phase 2 progress that much quicker, which would mean you'll have even less time to collect everything.

I'm averaging around 6 bone fragments a day, most of which come from blue crafting coffers. I do all of the crafting dailies on 14 toons, and all of the camp/lens dailies on 2-4 characters depending on how much time I have available.

How come that some get consistently good drops (6 per day is excellent from my perspective). Others don't. Consistently. Irrespective of toon or day.

today I have grinded the crafting dailies on 17 toons (so 1 golden plus 101 blue boxes) plus the dolmen and shard quests on one character so far (so additional 10 blue boxes plus 2 golden boxes plus minimum 6 dolmen chests - actually much much more to complete the shard daily 15 shards). And I consistently got an extremely low drop: Only 1 single bone fragment.

ZERO bone fragments in the chests but still so many useless haj mota fragments that I could compile 3 additional pets if I not already had one.

So since phase two start I have for sure looted 100++ dolmen chests and got zero bone fragments.

Some claim that they drop from dolmen chests but one could almost believe that this is just a rumor set into the world to make more ppl grind dolmens so that phase 2 is finished sooner. Ok I am not serious but it is really weird that I do get haj mota fragments from dolmen chests but not one single bone fragment. Irrespective of toon or day since phase 2 start.

ZOS: You have promised the bone skill style as a reward for phase 2 and simultaneously you make the drop rate of the fragments so bad that there will be players who will miss out of this reward because of bad luck despite them playing along and grinding like hell. This is so mean and insulting to pretend something to be a reward and then deny it to some players because of some bad rng tuning.

A "reward" that you can only get due to some random luck then it is not a reward but a prize from winning in a lottery.

What clearly shows is that drop rates don't seem to be consistent. Sometimes I got nothing useful at all from boxes, sometimes fragments were dropping like crazy. For a coincidence, it's a bit too extreme. So I guess they adjust drop rates all the time, or more probably it's auto-adjusted somehow (because I can't imagine someone manually changing it several times a day)? Maybe it depends on player numbers, or whatever?

Wasn't there, some years ago, something about fishing holes dropping better things the more people use them at the same time? Maybe it's the same with these boxes - more people doing them at the same time = better loot?

No, my drops don't depend on how many are at the dolmens. The number of ppl at dolmens is sometimes incredible. Rarely seen such a mass of players at a place.

Meanwhile I got ONE single bone fragment from a chest.

Wow! So this makes 2 bone fragments for grinding like hell.

@DenverRalphy When I write dolmen in this context I mean sieges. I call it dolmens as they share the same map symbol and the same functionality as the original ones.

Since phase 2 started and I am getting multiple fragments of the Haj Mota each day.

After this is over I would suspect not many players will still do the Sieges.

Yeah I've gotten about 10 of them now. I have no interest in it (or the Haj Mota pet) so I just send the fragments to guild mates or put them in guild banks.

Are these going to still drop in Phase 3? I haven’t gotten any for a few days now.

Also, I have gotten 5 Maul style pages this phase and nothing else I think, except for the tons of armor style pages that keep dropping (which I just destroy at this point). I keep selling the Maul pages and trying to find good deals for the rest of the weapons from guild traders, but they aren’t cheap with the extremely low drop rates.

after 3 days doing all quests on one character i havent gotten a single bone fragment and not a single new weapon page - neither from gold nor blue boxes - the last two days all except of 1 gold box didnt yield ANYTHING - this is ridiculous - the event is boring and bad as it is - this just completely demotivates me to even log in anymore.

If you mean the reward coffers from stopping the camp incursions, I've occasionally gotten a shard from one of those-- most often from the golden coffer, but today on PCEU I got one from a blue coffer.

As far as the mysterious vagaries of RNG, I experience that between servers. I consider PCNA to be my primary server, and PCEU to be my secondary server, so I'd prefer to have better RNG on PCNA, yet it seems like I almost always have better RNG on PCEU, no matter what particular thingy I happen to be hunting for.
