Nocturnal Styles: Night's Crows

Does anyone know what these will look like? Especially the one for Dive?

I'd love to be able to replace the cliffracer with a crow, but I don't want to get my hopes up because based on previous crown store skill styles I'm worried it will either really overplay the Nocturnal association so it can't be interpreted as a normal crow, or will simply be blinding flashes with a crow buried somewhere in the middle.

Unfortunately for some reason the crownstore showcase images for skill styles are always a picture of the icon, not the skill itself, so that gives me no idea what it might look like. Does anyone know if it's been shown anywhere?

Sadly they are not previewable until release.

i am guessing these skill styles replace the Cliff racer and Fetcherflies from these skills with crows. And that the crows will be partially purple like the crows from the Unfathomable Darkness set.

Agree that they will probably have a purple cue, especially swarm, but WAIT - what is that makes you look like that in those screenshots? I don't think is the set... I used it for fun when it launched and I don't remember it making me look like that.

I'm using Grace of Gloom with Unfathomable Darkness, the shadow effect is from Gloom

Thanks for the reply, I didn't know about that set's visual effect. I thought you were using Macabre Vintage, due to the blood on the ground.

Sorry for the OT but @LunaFlora , you may want to ask/rectify Kevin about the article: it doesn't say anything about the Gloambound ESOPlus discount, while past times it was applied. I wanted to note this in the Forum dedicated thread but it is not up yet and I'm going to bed. Feel free to point it out if you happen to see it before me

I'm really happy to see alternate animals for Warden sills! I do think the shadowy/gloamy effects are a bit... much.

Kinda hesitant to buy while Screaming Cliff Racer seems to be bugged. Is it supposed to have an override or not? Not being able to preview Swarm is also putting me off. (Seeing bugs in the Crown Store is a little alarming. Are you Okay, ZOS?)

We extremely need store items back on PTS. I'll always tell Zos this. Those CANNOT go live bugged and expect to sell...

I too was hoping for normal crows. I love the blackfeather court, love my crow banker and trader, so I was looking foreward to these styles coming available.

Now, after previewing the 2 previewable styles, I'm very disappointed. The crows/wings shown in the screenshots above are there, somewhere in the animation, but they're gone so fast I can only see them in a freeze frame. And in dark surroundings, the crow elements are difficult to spot at all.

All I see when watching the actual animation is a big ugly purple and black flash, and if I'm lucky some feathers floating around. That's not at all what I wanted.

Why can't they let cool animals just be cool animals, ffs.

I'm undecided at the moment. I was expecting a bit of an effect around the crow, like the blue 'smoke' effect on the cliffracer, but it is very bright.

For me it helps that it's purple and black, because my warden wears purple, blue and black, but it looks very bright in the preview.

2,500 crows works out to about £13, so I'm going to give myself some time to think about it because while that's not a lot of money overall it's more than I'd want to waste on a novelty effect I end up not using.

@Gingaroth Same here. Just saw they arrived and previewed them. It's what I expected but that doesn't stop me from being disappointed. Why does everything need big effects and loud explosions?! I just wanted some nice crows and it probably would've been one of the few styles I actually bought if they were just crows.
The noise even makes them completely unusable to me and I hope they won't be as loud when others use them next to me.

The "Screaming Cliff Racer" version of the preview for Dive is bugged for me and can't preview the Swarm at all. The preview button is completely greyed out.

Would like to be able to preview properly before buying.

Because the skill.needs a target too use its not a bug

Dive needs a target as well. In the preview it appears to be targeting your character.
