For the love of Nocturnal, could you please help us showing what's not previewable in game? And if Dive morph is really bugged?

Glad you are enjoying them btw :)

My apologies, did not even cross my mind to post pictures.

Here is swarm, looks great to me. When it hits the target it is the emote swarm of crows.

Here is the cliff racer. Hard to get a good picture because it is so fast.

Did not have enough ultimate to do dragon leap but it looks like the cliff racer, black crow with purple highlights.

As for the Dive morph I had no idea people were saying there was a bug. I have not noticed anything myself.

Thank you, and don't worry, I didn't want to come off as aggressive or angry XD sorry!

(It was just frustration caused by having yet again a crown store item with issues...)

No worries, I did not take it as such. Totally worth the purchase in my opinion.

Initially I thought because it needs a target to swarm. But dive needs a targeet to attack as well, so <shrug>.

Probably because Dive has the effect from attacking (the bird swooping down), but the effect on swarm is majorly the effect it applies on the enemy (the bugs flying around)

I went ahead and clipped a video using Swarm - Murder of Crows since it can't be previewed in game.

I would have bought at least one of them, but as a bundle? No. They might even get more sales if they'd sell them individually. Please consider this in the future with other skill styles.

Out of curiosity, does the mag morph of swarm leave an effect on your character?

The standard mag swarm will leave a flies effect on your character’s hands every second cast to signify the powered up version. Does that look different with the crows?

(I actually run the mag morph of swarm on my werewolf werebear character specifically for that effect because he’s totally the kind of beast who would have fleas constantly swarming him)

Sadly it does not. Looks like a purple hue.

Thanks for the pictures and video (and the reminder to preview it with the sound on). The in-game preview isn't great for skills, so it's helpful to be able to see how it actually looks.

    <snip>

Mag Version, Fetcher Infection. The purple sparkle disappears on next cast.

[edit] Oops, forgot to include the 2nd cast. Uploaded a new one.

Thanks for the video, that really helps to decide.

I'd would have prefered to be able to buy each style separately but what can you do...

I'm still undecided because recently I've replaced Swarm with another skill in my build, but in case I'll return to use it I really can't stand the sound of bees; this would be helpful to me. 14 Days to decide...

It's a disappointment to me. Would've beeen the first skillstyle I bought if they had been just crows without exaggerated effects and loud exploding noises.

Crowns saved, but sadly all my wardens are still stuck using the ill-fitting Morrowind animals. Except my dunmer warden who is stuck with a random bear.

It's kind of misleading that the thumbnails/icons for the skills are blue, yellow and green but the skills themselves are purple. Even the skill descriptions don't mention the color, where many of the previous skills do.

The crows in the icons are of appropriate color. The backgrounds though need to be different colors as the crows would likely be barely distinguishable from the background. As well, giving them all purple backgrounds would make them all look too similar on the skill bar.

I wish they had the crows without the purple color.

As do I. And without the loud bang.

I realise O.P. loves these styles and started the thread as a thank you to ZOS. I'm glad they found something they like and hope they keep enjoying it, but I think the special effects are way over the top and they ruin it for me.

Quite disapointing, as I was looking forward to getting some crow-themed styles. If it had been just the birds and their bird-noises, I would have bought these styles for sure, 100%.

Just like I would have bought the Evergloam Indrik, if it hadn't suffered from the same purple swirls and banging noises.
And the Ardor's Devotion Senche-Raht, if had just been a hippy-like, flower-covered, longhaired Senche-raht, without obnoixious flash-and-bang summoning process and sparklefarts. And several other mounts/pets/skill styles/etc. too.

Would it not be possible to put 2 versions of these kind of things in the crownstore, one with and one without the special effects? It seems like a relatively easy way to make more money for ZOS, and gives the players more options to choose from.

Then the purple crows in game should have had the matching green or blue glows to better fit the icons as opposed to everything being purple.

I think you're somewhat missing the basic point that these styles are thematic to Nocturnal and everything Nocturnal has always been something in the shade of purple. When it comes to thematic lore, I would be very dubious about these things being blue and green and everything NOT reminiscent of the colors associated with Nocturnal's sphere.

I'm super enjoying these styles actually giving that Nocturnal flare to my characters aligned with her. I subclassed into DK JUST for the Dragon Leap style since I also had other class trees I wasn't really using anyway.

Honestly I wish we'd gotten a few more and ZoS missed out on some opportunities here. I would've KILLED to have an additional style to replace the Warden's betty/bull netch skill with a crow that flies next to you and gives you stam/mag buffs instead of this weird little squid thing we have, since ZoS leaned more heavily into the Animal Companions skills and the fact that these are clearly magical crows makes total sense imo.

Hell, giving a more purple/black coloration to Falcon's Swiftness would've been nice as well, but I can make do with the more green-blue Warden already has since its close to the color of evergloam Wisps, so it still kind of manages to match theme. Small victories, not sure if it was actually intended or not that they left that untouched.

Swarm is super enjoyable and visibly appealing on both enemies and your character.

They COULD tone back the explosion of purple on Dive a bit because honestly I mostly just see a purple blur, its got a good foundation but I think it could've used a little tweaking to be more subtle, but I guess when you're in group content with all kinds of effects flashing everywhere, you wouldn't see it very well. The effect is a little bit over-the-top though.

The dragon leap is nice too. Its just that Dive and Dragon Leap are skills that happen so fast its hard to appreciate the little details of them in the moment more than the visually explosive special effects they give off.

All in all, good styles, just not totally perfect. But I'm happy enough with them that I've slotted in skills I totally ignored before and I'm having a lot more fun as a result.
