ESO Beds - What would you change?

Ever try to lay down in a bed in your home? It's a lot of work. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just walk up to a bed like you do a chair and use it? If it's a double bed, the bed should have two slots where you could easily place 2 NPCs or one NPC and the player.

It might also be nice to add some kind of bonus for actually using the in-game beds. Maybe just an achievement that comes with a funny title if you sleep in your bed a certain number of times. Maybe even a night cap and some PJs!

Possibly some e-motes too.

This is a great idea right? Go Zeni! Make it so!

In terms of resting XP bonuses like previous TES games had, I believe that's covered by the Enlightenment mechanic. But still, it would be nice for more furniture to be functional. And like in previous TES games, we probably shouldn't be allowed to sleep in beds that aren't ours — no breaking into an NPC's home and sleeping in their beds!

Now that we have the Tide-Born Bench, Wicker that we can lie down on I feel that this should be applied to beds and lounge chairs as well.

I would love for more furnishings to be interactable, but beds are the number one on my list. My characters want to get a good night's sleep!

Double beds you can access from both sides so you select the side to sleep on.

Has an mod in Oblivion where you visible goes to bed using the npc animations, one bug is that the npc dont register bed in use then you sleep in guild halls.
And you know how npc in TES games rarely react to dead npc. Well if you kill some in their sleep the bed is now not in use.
You get some behavior an female alchemist in Skingrad would get excited about.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

Maybe so, but I say if you can build a bed you should be able to sleep in it. And if you get home late with your companion I mean...it seems like going to bed would be the thing to do. You're just going to be tired and that's that. You've been killing things and pulling weeds all day! But alas, my character is quite fond of his companion. If you keep less favorable company well then you gotta leave em' at the door.

They gave chairs sitting animations. Not sure why beds weren't given lay down animations.

It's bizarre to have interactable chairs but not beds. No wonder everyone in Tamriel is always fighting - lack of a decent night's sleep and of course no toilets ... or is there?!

I do wish we had proper chamberpots. Using random vases and bowls feels... wrong. But we know people in-universe use chamberpots because you can see them under some peoples beds and also it can be pickpocketed (not sure why they're carrying it around...).

I agree, it would be awesome if we could use beds like other furniture. However, I fear that it wouldn't be technically possible, or that it would be too difficult to modify existing beds.
It would be just as great if you could pet your pets in your home. Unfortunately, this animation only exists in isolated cases.

I'd love to be able to use beds. It doesn't need to serve any purpose, I'd just like it if you could interact with them and it would automatically put your character into a sleep animation in the right position, instead of having to stand on top and try to guess at the right spot.

Now that was some very fancy toilet. Still functional but you need the other chairs to be at the same high standard else they look like ***

      should be :

just use a bed like a chair. Go next to it, press E to activate then there's a animation, the character is now sleeping on it.
      exactly like a chair

And if someone wants to use it too, it says "impossible, this bed is busy"
