How important is major resolve?

So because of subclassing I no longer have a source of major resolve or a burst heal.
Does the 5% damage reduction from Nibenay monster helm set make up for a lack of major resolve?? I have 1 flex slot for something. I can either have shield throw with major resolve that only lasts 10 seconds. Or I could use either Obsidian shield or cinder storm

660 Armor/Pen = 1% Damage Done in PvP. I can't get down with the 10 second Major Resolve from scribing when every class skill is 20 seconds or more.

Yeah I reckon lots are simply dropping it in favor of more burst? Best defense is a good offense type approach.

What do you need Earthern Heart for?

Also about Nibenay, it's roughly the same as Minor Resolve. Within 1% in PvP, Minor/Major Berserk = Vulnerability = Protection = Resolve = Breach. Afaik

So slap on Chudan? It will probably keep you up more than Nibenay if you dont have Major Resolve? Until a Warden casts Frost Cloak on you anyhow

I chose it for fossilized/shattering rocks for a stun and corrosive armour. It's passive also gives minor brutality.
She's a Warden, Animal companions and assassination skill lines.

She's an odd experimental build though. She's a stamina blood mage I'm calling her. With blood drinker set and pillar of nirn. Front bar is flame staff for DoT damage. She uses cutting dive, and bloody burst, impale, falcon swiftness and shattering rocks stun and soul harvest on the front bar. Because cutting dive has a small delay, it hits at the same time as bloody burst.

Back bar is sword and board. Makes no sense to me why theres no major resolve on the primary defensive weapon skill line.

If I have the opportunity on the back bar and have relentless focus ready I can use it after popping corrosive armour.

If Nibenay is less than major resolve then it sounds like I should get mighty Chudan.

Right, those would be the reasons to take Earthern Heart. With how fast the meta is, both those skills are clutch right now. With that in mind, Chudan sounds good to me too. Saving a GCD is really nice when damage is this high.

I think the Armor skills should be revised and lose the 5 slot requirement, and revert one morph of Unstoppable back to the old form without the root.

Sounds like a strong build, though the DK Purist in me is a bit nauseated by the Ranged use of Corrosive! 😆

Oh and one more thing - if you wear Chudan, maybe you can use Enervation instead of Resolve. Probably not a popular idea around here, with all you Merciless NBs

Haha there's no tab targeting on PS5. It's hard to aim correctly on fast moving targets. I find ranged so much easier.
I at least need a gap closer for melee and that takes a slot.

I wish they would buff obsidian shield with a heal.
