Any interesting ideas?

I for example would really love a "Wild Hunt" version of the warden bear pet to have a more magicka looking variant (And its already in game and also a bear so i guess animations etc. are in place)

The other one I would really love if the grave grasp ability got an option to make it look like the bone spikes that some enemies use for example in moongrave fane - apparently this was also originally intended so i guess its already in the "drawer" so to say:

Werewolf Transformation Skill Styles to change the fur color or make it some other existing werewolf model (like the undead model Faolchu uses or the skeletal werewolves from Unhallowed Grave). Werewolf Behemoths use a totally different animation set and would be incompatible.

Any non-werewolf styles for Werewolf Transformation (such as other werebeasts) should be made into their own curses with associated skill lines, mutually exclusive from Werewolf. For instance, wereboars (last playable in TES II: Daggerfall) would be accessed through a Wereboar skill line that you can't get if you're a Werewolf or a Vampire. Don't make other werebeast models into Skill Styles for Werewolf Transformation if it doesn't make sense for that werebeast to howl, roar, pounce, or do anything that makes sense for specifically a werewolf to do — especially if the sound effects remain unchanged.

Admittedly, I'd much prefer the bony spikes for the 'unnerving Graveyard' over the cartoony tombstones growing out of thin air. Relations to the spells name aside.

First of all I'd like for them to take all the colours they've released so far, and make them available to every skill.

That's a lot of colour customization for (in comparison), little effort and will make many players happy I think, especially now subclassing is a thing. Then, put all of those styles as (retroactive) achievement unlocks.

Hunting for skill styles is fun and satisfying, and even while they've gotten a lot better with it, ESO sometimes still feels a little sparse in regards to ingame unlocks. Sprinkling skill colour unlocks for all styles throughout the achievements will add a whole bunch of stuff to get in a relatively simple way.

And a few carefully chosen colour changes can give existing spells an entire new vibe. For example the warden frost skill that makes the aoe ice spikes. Colour them purple, and they will resemble crystals, dye them red and they will fit a more sinister blood/vampire theme. Make them translucent and they will look like broken glass, for a Mirrormoor inspired char.

For completely new styles, I would like for example:

Werewolf: druidic patterns like in that dungeon, and more different fur colours.

Sorcerer pets: alternatives for each of them, but not just daedra! For example a floating nereid, floating spirit/ghost, or flame atronach instead of the twilight matriarch. With subclassing, it could be nice to give the daedric summoning line the option to fit more summoning themes.

The same goes for warden's animal companions. There really should be an easily available option to change the cliffracer into more common animals like a hawk or eagle. Currently most of their spells look very Vvardenfell specific, which is great for dunmer or argonians but not very fitting for anyone else. The deep fissure shalks could be wolves, for example.

Obviously any animals would fit, but I chose wolves and eagles because the skill line is very appealing for the ranger archetype, and.I think it's best to get the basics out first.

Best of all, all of the models for anything I mentioned are already in the game. So if they had to pick whether to design entirely new styles or implement existing ones (likely meaning they can do more of those in the same timeframe allocated for it), I hope they'd pick the latter! .

    More earnable ones.

Not a fan of the RGB colors being in the crown crates and store. We have so much in the crown store, I personally would’ve enjoyed earning more through events and achievements in game or something. Or even buying them with gold as a gold sink!

I really enjoy the ones that they’ve done so far that are not RGB like molten puncture and I’m sure people would like to see different colored beams lol. A red arcanist beam or purple one would be dope.

Permanent Necro pets so the class doesn't feel like such a chore to play for mediocre damage output.

It would also be nice if you could use one of your unlocked skins as a style for the full body transformation ultimates like DK's Molten Giant, or Necro's Bone Goliath.

Most skins look like they are more of a magical effect than something that you would commonly see walking around in TES anyways, and that way they can be used for many different character themes, when taking those skill lines.

For example instead of a bone giant you could use the zombie skin, or one of the creepy black ones with glowing eyes.

Each to their own and all that, but I couldn't care less about skill styles. I have loads unlocked and have never used a single one.
So it's very low on my list of what I'd like the developers to focus on.

I would like more green variants for my Bosmer nightblade, like the resolving vigor. The red steel tornado is good but the pink and purple ones... eh.

The one I would sell my soul to Hircine for would be a Werebear model to replace the Werewolf transformation. I'm ok with the existing animations, just give me a bear model.

On that note, we absolutely need more werewolf colors. Definitely the three basic ones (black/white/grey) should be free, but wereforms need more customization. And if we're getting werebears, we should have a wereboar as well.

Besides that, I'd love to have a water-themed Vigor to match the warhorn from this last set of crates and the healing springs from Lep.

I'm a lot more keen on class skill styles now that we have subclassing. Some thoughts I've had...

    Frost Pack
    • Ice Blast Abyssal Impact
    • Frost Atronach Frozen Colossus
    • Ice Spike Bonefield

    Ideal Master Pack
    • Boneman Sacrificial Bones
    • Wraithman Skeletal Mage
    • Mistman Spirit Mender
    • Reaper Bone Goliath Transformation

    Other Miscellaneous Ideas...
    • Lightning Tether Shocking Siphon
    • Dremora Summon Shade
    • Psijic Portal Apocryphal Gate

What I and many others has been asking years for, and some personal choices.
    • Different daedra skin for sorcerer pets. Like banekin, fire atronach etc.
    • Just updated texture and model for existing ones too. That weird pale purple is so badly looking.
    • Different animal skins for warden's animal handling skills. The animal handling skilline is such a weird mix of animals. You have a class that is mostly connected to bosmer and bretons, but with fauna from Morrowind, except a bear. I want a Morrowind suiting animal for my dunmer warden and I want non-Morrowind animals for the other skills on my other wardens.
    • More subtle skins. Why is everything so glowy and flashy, even melee attacks. Can I swing my daggers, mauls etc around without swirls of light please.
    • Either do a complete set of a recolour or don't bother. I like the blue fire for dragon knights, but can't really use it because a lot of fire skills don't have a blue skin, and no I don't want to pay thousands of crowns for them.
    • Proper necromancer looking skins for necromancers. Not this Halloween spoopy thing with cartoon graveyards. Give me bones, zombies, rotting flesh and flies.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

what would also be really nice is an arcanist beam that looks like a fire beam - people always wanted the flame thrower ability that some npc's have and this could be that :D

    Subclassing was done wrong imo.

What should have happened is that when a skill line is taken from a class and used on another, the effects/animations/sounds all reflect that new class.

For example: Lets use the Warden DPS skill line with the Bear ultimate. If you were to use that skill line on a sorc, the bear would now be some daedroth. If you used the skill line on a nightblade, the bear would be a shadow of the player. If you used the bear ultimate on a templar, it would be one of those golden dudes seen randomly in Solstice (I dont now what they are called), if you used the skill line on an Arcanist, you'd get another tenticle eyeball guy.

The icons, and heck even names along with the graphics, animation should have been changed to work with the primary class being used on. That would have at least kept some form of class identity and things would feel cohesive.

As it stands, its all a frankenstein miss match of stuff that looks ridiculous.
