Need help with STEAM ... Seasons pass....

Im looking for help to get a friend the Seasons pass on his STEAM account.
He has been playing for 7-8years and usually buys the content on STEAM. But I won him a code for the Season pass. Have been unable to use it since you need to log into the ESO.com site, of which he has never made?
Not sure what to do. Can you link a steam account to an ESO profile? And what would they do about their @name?
Or is there another way for him to enter the code via STEAM?
All attempts have failed so far.

Player 1 "just run passed everything!"
Player 3 "We could just kill them on the way"
Player 4 "Why am I 89% of total DPS, one of the only ones that Qued as DPS, and yet in a group with 3 other DPS that cant seem to kill the basic mobs in a normal dungeon, and being told I suck?"
Player 1 "Whatever, GFL"
Player 1 has left the group...
Player 2 "Huh?"
Player 1 "just run passed everything!"
Player 3 "We could just kill them on the way"
Player 4 "Why am I 89% of total DPS, one of the only ones that Qued as DPS, and yet in a group with 3 other DPS that cant seem to kill the basic mobs in a normal dungeon, and being told I suck?"
Player 1 "Whatever, GFL"
Player 1 has left the group...

✭✭✭✭✭If he has an ESO account through Steam, I believe he should be able to log in on ESO.com and link his ESO.com account with his Steam account. It should be on the same screen where he would go to link any other account with his ESO account, such as linking his Twitch account with his ESO account so he can earn Twitch drops in ESO when there's a Twitch drops campaign going on (as there is right now).I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -
Lucifer_Sam✭✭✭You still need an ESO account to play through steam, Whatever was used for initially logging into the game through steam is what will be used for the account.
Steam automatically logs you into the game but I don't know how you can access that info from steam. Maybe someone else here knows how.0 -

he could try to enter the code in the crown store. There's a 'redeem code' option on the bottom middle of your screen when you open the crown store.
But he should have an eso account. it will be whatever his @name is in game and then he can do a password reset if he can't remember the password. Once logged into the eso account link the account as other posters have described.Edited by Izanagi.Xiiib16_ESO on 6 June 2025 10:00@Solar_Breeze
