Tower Full of Trouble (Ember Quest) - Bugged on PS5

Anyone else experiencing this? I am at the point in the quest to get Ember where it requires that you restore 4/4 of the livestock with the Spoon of Undo. I've restored 3 and found the last NPC, but am unable to interact with it after several attempts at mediating this issue:

- /reloadui
- Closing & restarting the game
- Restarting PS5

None of these solutions have helped. If anyone else has experienced this and has a fix I would love to know! Thanks.

I am also playing on PS5, just finished that quest and had no problems. Maybe try quitting the quest and restarting if everything else failed?

You have to be really quick hitting the prompt for some of them.

The last NPC, the one complaining about Ember all the time (the guar), ran away several times before crossing a bridge and pausing there for a few seconds.

I've had this bug a few times on PC NA. With the second cow (stuck behind a tree) and the guar (stopped in the bog) luckily I knew where they were supposed to finish. Was able to use spoon on invisible cow and guar respawned on bridge.

Almost all High Isle quest bugs can be fixed by completely logging out and logging back in, including this one. It's not the right answer, but it does work.

I did not run into this bug on PTS but have just come to it on PCNA.

I encountered this bug again recently. I haven't done a statistically meaningful amount of testing, but anecdotally, it seems that it happens if you go sheep, cow, cow, sheep, you won't be able to use the spoon on the last sheep. If so, maybe the same deal with cow, sheep, sheep, cow. On the other hand, cow, cow, sheep, sheep; and sheep, sheep, cow, cow both probably work.

What I have seen with the guar in question, is that her normal sequence of actions can be interrupted if she takes fright at the crocodile that she runs near (especially if you end up fighting that crocodile yourself). A workaround can be to kill the croc before you get to the point of needing to use the Spoon of Undo on the guar.

I ran into this issue on the PC. I had to abandon the quest and start. I also changed the order in which I interacted the two NPCs near the bridge. It worked for me on PC. Try it and see if it helps.

I ran into this issue on PC today. I had to abandon the quest, which is annoying given how many steps there are before you reach the Sheep.

Logging out and leaving/re-entering the area didn't work at all.

I ran into this bug on PCNA tonight. The only way I could "fix" it was to abandon the quest and start over.

I tried to change the sheep that ran off first, and when I went back to the other sheep there were three of them as though the NPC had spawned too many times. Only one of the three had a quest marker, but I could not get an interaction prompt to use the spoon of undoing. I was able to change the two cows back, but nothing I tried-- logging out for 15+ minutes and logging back in, changing zones, using reloadui-- had any effect.

Only abandoning the quest and restarting it worked. I made sure to change the two cows first, then I was able to change the sheep that stays put, and thankfully there were no extra spawns of it. Then I was able to change the sheep that runs off, and after that the guar.
