How are you preparing for U46 and subclassing?

Myself will do the prologue somewhere this week.

Have finished Cadwell's gold on the character I was working on, so I can play the next one with subclassing in mind(warden). Have looked into some of the skilllines, and will make this warden a full on summoner: Clannfear, twilight matriarch, bear, skeleton, betty netch(warden+necro+sorc). Have also scribed some new skills for this warden. And will complete the trainee islands on the warden before U46.

Other than that, I will try to play the least amount as possible this week. So that I can continue playing ESO with a fresh feeling when U46 drops.

PS: When U46 drops I will once again start doing crafting writs, due to the stacking envelopes. (love this new feature!)
PPS: Have always loved summoner classes in many games, the more permanent summons the better!

Got a couple of ideas for my dk. I normally tank so I'm going to play around with the arcanist and necro skill lines in that area. Otherwise I might put a templar and NB tree down when I'm adventuring to have some more fun options to play with in the overland.

Probably the only thing that's close to any preparation was getting an armoury slot on a discount last week or so from remaining crowns I had. Hate the feature for it's bigger arching consequences but can't remain unviable in a new system sorta deal.

I've been gathering skill points for my characters who will use subclassing and sorting out my stockpiled writs which I plan on using to level the skill lines up. I'll premake before the patch drops.

I have 3 mastercrafters who happen to be different classes so it'll be a case of divide and conquer and hopefully it won't take too long.

I've been doing a bunch of sub50 battlegrounds on my alts to try to get as many dye achievements, style pages, and Alessia statue antiquity leads as possible. I feel like once u46 drops, sub50 battlegrounds are going to become a complete nightmare, so I want to get as many of their unique rewards as possible while that's not true. It's a bit of a shame, because I've found myself, shockingly, enjoying them.

There is day and change of overlap between the 2XP 'long weekend' and the release of U46 so I've laid out a plan to make the most of it to lvl subclass lines with MWs.

Apart from that not much else can be done.

Looking forward to a bit of power creep after almost three years of drought on that particular department.

Replaying each of the classes level 1-50, rating how much I enjoy their theme and base class skill lines, comparing and rating class mastery script and class sets, and adding up the numbers to decide which class I should main now that my necromancer blastbones/animate blastbones playstyle will no longer being usable due to the limit of 5 "pets" which included corpses, blastbones, skeletal mage, and the healing wraith, so not able to get enough corpses to even use the animate blsatbones ultimate, unless you just don't summon anything and just make corpses using the spammable... Well actually the corpse from the spammable probably doesn't have a long enough duration to have 3 corpses at a given time.... So yeah, just a dead playstyle/class, that will only be good for taking one or two things from via subclassing.

I have started an RP arc on my Reachfolk Namira worshipper using the Tome of Void Runes quest item from the Wayward Guardian daily quest. She is going around asking various scholars in the RP community to help her try to translate it.

This is an RP-arc setup for her subclassing into an Arcanist skill line when the patch drops - she can't read, but this is a book NO ONE can read, and it's Namiran, not Herma-Moran.

I've added all of the Sealed Alchemy and Provisioning Writs that were scattered over the inventories of my characters to my bank so that my main can easily access them, and bought some more Master Writs. When U46 goes live, I'll use them to power level a couple of skill lines that I'll probably end up using on most on my characters.

I've spent quite some time on the PTS trying different subclass combinations, however, and my enthusiasm for the new system has waned. So I'm not sure if I'm immediately going to use those skill lines on my characters or if I'm keeping (most of) them pure for the time being. Probably the latter.

I read through the class skills for Templar and Nightblade (having already tried out Arcanist on PTS). Then updated Baldur's Gate 3, and downloaded mods for Dragon Age and Oblivion Remastered. Added Clair Obscur to Steam basket. Hopefully that'll keep me busy till U47 or U48.

Finished the prologue, other than that, nothing. I tried subclassing on PTS for a short period of time, and I am really looking forward to it. My issue is I have 10 full Armory slots, and I don't know which to delete if ZOS doesn't add more armory slots. I would like up to 20 armory slots please. I plan on starting fresh, and design multiple new classes!

And remember, it is a choice to use subclassing, don't let FOMO, or being forced to use it as a basis for your argument that you have to use subclassing, that is a really weak argument. We still do not know what final changes ZOS will be implementing for the system. Learn to adapt, and face new challenges!!!

No in-game preparation because I'm not planning to subclass. I play my main 99% of the time and I'm not interested in subclassing with her. Outside the game, I've been making a list of what I'd want to complete before exiting ESO, just in case.

If subclassing means playing her won't feel the same (due to changes to her skills to accommodate subclassing), or she feels way weaker when in a group, I'll finish up the few things I want to complete and uninstall. If she still feels okay, I'll stick around a while longer.

I’m just not playing. I have two alts left that need skyshards, so I’m saving them for U46 and will try out subclassing then. I don’t plan on getting the season pass for a variety of reasons, so I’m just holding off on playing for now.

I grabbed a few armory slots to cap off my class mains, so I will play with builds if/when I vibe with the new system.

Earlier I levelled dark elf arcanist from 1-50 slowly in a week savouring it and having fun.

Prologue done;
Amassed tons of Transmutes and waiting for the Crafter Celebration to reconstruct for half cost;
Levelled all classes skill lines to 50;
Have dedicated armory slots for subclassing;
On my way to unlock all scribing scripts on all my characters, 6/12 done;
Readying myself for a "lightning speed" leveling of subclassed lines;
I want to level 4 lines and I will try to do it in a couple of hours the first day with XP scrolls.
Already have enough Skill Points on my main 4 characters. I'll farm with the others when they'll already have subclassing so that they can slot Fatecarver and be faster in public dungeons.

I'm just playing traders waiting for console release, to not get burn out.

So I started a brand new character I'm going to level to 50 set up for subclassing Nightblade/Warden and do all the content in original order that should keep me busy until they return to the original Content pace in two years...which Matt said on the Kinda Funny podcast they would probably return to at some point.
