Evil Hunter Says
Invoke your expertise in anatomy and enemy behaviour to detect stealthed and invisible enemies around you for 5 seconds.
Exposed enemies cannot return to stealth or invisibility for 4 seconds.
While active, it increases the damage of your Stamina costing Fighters Guild abilities by 25%.
While slotted, you gain Major Savagery and Prophecy, increasing your Weapon and Spell Critical rating by 2629.
While active, your non-Ultimate Fighters Guild abilities have increased damage. Increases the radius of the reveal.

But when I activate it does not increase the damage of my torchbearer skill

Tested on a dummy
Major brutality does increase the damage of torchbearer, so I know it can be buffed

    Did you scribe Torchbearer such that its cost is Stamina, rather than Magicka?

    Edit: Apparently every single Focus Script, even the magical ones, still result in Torchbearer costing Stamina. That means Torchbearer is always a Stamina costing Fighters Guild skill and should always receive the damage boost from Evil Hunter.

    I hate that they did this, I wish you could have a magicka variation of the Torchbearer skill.
    Necromancer summons are still bugged in U47 on live and it has been 77 days since ZOS has said anything.

    Just decided I wanted to try optimizing fighter's guild abilities, and forgot about this thread. Anyone ever confirm if Evil Hunter does not buff Torchbearer?

    Did you make sure you used the evil hunter skill before torch bearer? You only get the damage buff while the skil is running, it's not passive for just having slotted the skill.

    Evil Hunter hasn't been touched since patch 5.1.5. where its additional damage was introduced.
    The check for FG abilities is even older. From patch 2.4.5. onwards it gave cost reduction to FG abilities.
    Torchbearer wasn't around back then and neither was the possibility that the skill line could be expanded.

    Now my bet is that the code that was used to make the check doesn't look for a "FG ability" flag or something similar, but it rather checks for the specific abilities of Silver Bolts, Circle of Protection and Trap Beast.

    This was probably done to make an easy exception for Dawnbreaker and not provoke some accidental damage increases for non-FG abilities.
