Really hoping for vertical camera sliders, even if it really should be a base game option.

@SkaiFaith Vertical camera sliders? Is that something different than what we can already do by holding the d-pad down button and moving the thumbstick?

That zooms the camera in and out. They're talking about moving the crosshair up and down, as in height.
I know some addon authors have confirmed they're planning to port their addon to consoles, and some console players have said they're going to develop addons, but I don't think there's a list yet.Really hoping for vertical camera sliders, even if it really should be a base game option.
I don't understand why there's so many options like this which they've always had on PC but for some reason left off consoles.
That would need a new addon though, because it's a base game option on PC there's never been a need for an addon to do it.

I asked some initial questions about this as a console player. I don’t think we have any tools to do addon development on the actual console. A console player, I think, would have to do the work on PC and then port it over. I was considering it but I do not have a PC.

And just like ZOS said already on here and on the stream with these add-ons if something is wrong with them ZOS has zero control with them so you can't report them to ZOS and they can't help you fix them at all

There won't be a way to create addons on a console, but a lot of people who play ESO on consoles do have access to a PC.
I don't know how many of them intend to make addons, but a lot of addons (in all games) are the result of people getting annoyed at something and wanting to make themselves a solution, so even some people who don't think of themselves as addon authors might end up making some.Unfadingsilence wrote: »robwolf666 wrote: »Personally, I worry about addons/mods coming to console - if Skyrim/FO4/Starfield have taught us anything, it's that ported mods don't always work properly and can cause problems on consoles.

That's how it works on PC as well. But the nice part is if an addon isn't working you can just turn it off, which will also disable any bugs it's causing, and keep playing the game without it until it's fixed.

TTC and Awesome Guildstore (or similar add-ons) would be mint also.
*Fingers crossed*

I say its likely to be people wanting to port mods to console, if the mod creator agree they can do it.Twohothardware wrote: »Here's the new website with the currently published mods that will be available. I'm sure more will be coming before the release.
