I plan to cancel as soon as I can
My sub is good until November. I plan to cancel it closer to the date (just in case ZOS does something that makes me want to keep it, but I'm not holding my breath).

At this point in my ESO life, I'll be fine without the storage, if I'm still playing at that point. I'm not sure I will be.

I'm done. No sub, they're all (4 of them) cancelled. I have some time remaining on two accounts, but I'm SO not interested in playing any more.

Only way they could get me back would be to release Erlibru's Cottage and Tor Draioch - and even then I wouldn't sub again.

Why did you decide to quit the game entirely, just curious? Is it the content pass or more like the game isn't fun without Plus and Plus is a bad deal now?

    Let's see....

First, I'm not in favor of paying "passes", especially paying for something like dungeons in which I have zero interest; second, I am ABSOLUTELY not interested in subclassing (never have been never will be); third, unless they will guarantee not nerfing pure classes, well I'm done period.

It's okay. I always know when it's time to move on.

I agree with you about to passes including dungeons. There should have been a version with no dungeons instead of expecting Plus users to pay for them twice, especially when not every Plus users wanted dungeons in the first place and barely tolerated them as part of Plus.

Also, the nerfs to pure classes. Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Sorry to hear your experience will be negatively impacted by that. I also don't like how they seem more interested in nerfing pure classes instead of making sub-class versions of skills weaker like most other games. I'm hoping that the pure classes won't lag behind too much but I don't have high hopes.

I subscribe on two accounts. I already cancelled one, and most likely, will keep it without. I will cancel my main account for four months to make up the overpriced season content pass and then decide whether to just keep it without as well.

    Yes, for craftbag
I mainly sub for crafting and the other inventory benefits. So as long as I play, I am subscribed. Plus, I always sub for a year, so any dissenting value of cancelling it wouldn't matter.

That being said, I am not getting the season pass until it's on sale. The release format looks nearly identical to year's past, but it's $10 more. I already get dungeon access via ESO+, so really it's paying more money for a smaller "Chapter" zone. There are outstanding questions on its availability after the season ends, and the upcoming changes are looking increasingly unappealing.

I cancelled about a month or two ago (RL helped with that financial decision). But since I logged in a few days ago I noticed some things I want to grind endeavors to buy, and it's been BRUTAL trying to manage my inventory. It's been even worse as a Grand Master Crafter having to dump all the mats that I would normally horde. 😭

Mine expired last year. I didn't renew for a few reasons, the main reason being is that I play less. The half-price deal isn't even tempting me. lol This doesn't mean I won't ever get eso+ again, I just don't need it right now.

I dropped my sub when U35 went live, just like I said I would. I have a 30-day sub now with the 50% off sale, but nothing zeni is doing comes close to convincing me to go back to full time ESO+ like I used to have.

I answered "for craft bag" since it's the closest option from the two "Yes" options, but probably should have chosen the "Other" option. I like the crowns, the housing double space, and other benefits. This is the only MMO game I'm playing. Once I stop subbing, I will stop playing.

    I cancelled already
Already cancelled, though I buy 6 months at a time so it won't end for a while yet. I've also started working out how to manage my inventory and plan to create some more storage space for myself (better use of my second account). My plan is that instead of running permanent ESO+ as I have for years, I'll just occasionally buy a month here and there as needed.

I also don't plan to buy the new content for the first time in years. This might change when/if my trial group is ready to go to the new trial, but I'm hoping it will be on sale before then.

Things could change regarding ESO+ because I care about this game and want to support it, but between being unfairly banned a year ago (the PTS incident that hit quite a few of us), getting a trifecta and not being awarded the achievement - then having ZOS acknowledge that there was a bug but offer no help for it, and now watching the playstyles that keep me engaged fade further into irrelevance... I just can't anymore. I'll be a steady customer again if they once again provide the game I want to pay for.

    I keep ESO+ for:
    - Full access to all DLC
    - 1650 crowns per month
    - Crafting bags
    - 10% increase of exp, gold, and so on
    - Double furnishing spaces
    - Ability to dye costumes
    - Double currency cap for transmutation crystal

For now, I can afford the monthly fee and I really enjoy almost all the advantages (the double currency cap on transmutation crystal is the only thing I don't care about). So I will keep going.

Side note: please stop adding comments to poll options, that limit the original meaning of the option. I can't simply select "yes" because it's limited by the rest of the sentence: "for the craftbag". ESO+ is much more than just crafting bags.

I was buying the chapter each year anyway, so this time at least I'll have the end year dlc on my account too. ESO+ costs the same as Crown packs, and has craftbag, double housing slots in addition, and access to previous dlcs.. And those statuettes, although I lost track of them long ago. Occasional costume or discount isn't that bad either.

EDIT: Oh, and costume dyeing! That's a cool thing to have.

As long as the craftbag remains tied to ESO+, most players will keep it.

I'd say it also depends how often you play and how advanced you are along in the game.

When I switch to becoming a casual player and no longer logging in daily, I found that my 6 storage chests and 2 storage toons was more than adequate. Add the occasional ESO+ free weekend and I didn't resub for nearly a year.

For newer players, yeah it's a necessity.

I'm gonna miss your regular comments in the forums but I really do understand the feeling when something 'just isn't my game anymore'.

As for me, subclassing multiclassing is probably my only chance to get my stamwarden main back into endgame PvE content. I'm coming back in June and staying until either I get the hard mode achievements or my stamwarden gets nerfed back into oblivion. EIther way, it's a swansong for me as I no longer have any desire to PvP in a game that will allow Spec Bow, Streak, Cloak and Corrosive Armor to exist on the same build.

had already been thinking about going back to ffxiv this summer anyways. the recent decisions have just given me a gigantic push in that direction. i've never agreed with the pricing on chapters, so i never bought them unless they gave a house away with the zone event (like greymoor and necrom) and i'd get it for half price then during the sale. the rest, i just wait for them to go to eso+. love the game. it's a great game. but when you run out of stuff to do, there's nothing to do. i'll probably keep the two accounts on the laptop and do the daily login bonuses and quick endeavors during morning coffee, but no sub for the foreseeable future. in another year (+ a few months) i'll probably sub for a month to play gold road/solstice, assuming they are going to continue to add "old" content to eso+. they still have no clarified this.

I cancelled a long time ago. If this new seasons format hasn't changed things I'll likely subscribe for a month to play Gold Road and any dungeons I haven't completed. If this is no longer an option then I'll just continue to do what I have been doing which is login for events if they have items that look interesting while spending my money on other games.

Respectfully no the the 1st poll option (Yes, for craftbag) is biased as it's misleading, conveniently skipping all the other perks in ESO+ other than the craft bag. Here's the list:
    • Access to all DLC game packs
    • Free crowns for the in-game Crown Store
    • Access to the Craft Bag
    • Double bank space
    • 10% increase to Experience & Gold acquisition, Crafting Inspiration, Trait Research, and Archival Fortunes acquisition rates
    • Bonuses to progression
    • Increased Furniture placement limits
    • Costume dyeing
    • Double Transmute Crystal capacity
    • Exclusive access to unique Crown Store deals

So the craft bag is not the only reason one subscribes.

^^^ Exactly this. But I buy the annual subscription because it's the best bargain.

It was never about access to all of the DLCs for me, because by the time I finally decided to subscribe I'd already purchased everything up to that point, and have chosen to keep purchasing all new content as it's released.

The craft bag and double bank space were the main reasons I subscribed, but the other benefits are also nice-- especially the double transmutation crystal cap, although I'd love to see that doubled again so I can get rid of a lot of reconstructed daggers whose only purpose is to store excess crystals.
