Which Class are you going to Subclass into first?

I'll remove Storm Calling and add Grave Lord on my Sorc to keep the "darkness mage" motif and have some cool summons which can benefit from Daedric Prey. Can you imagine how powerful a blastbones might be?

I will stick with my original 3 skill lines.
    Staying loyal to my nb.

I am pretty sure, they are reworking/nerfing most of the skills, as some combinations may be too overpowered. So players who stay on one class are punished, eventho they don't use subclasses.

Also not a friend of season pass either. It was the first time after a reveal stream, that I had the feeling that I will quit the game this year.

Curse, Scorch, Blastbones for PvP sounds annoying. I will try that.

For PvE whatever fits my RPing.
Fire, Ice, Poison Druid (warden & dk)
    Spellblade (sorc & nb)
and kind of summoner (sorc, necro, maybe nb)

Depends if you can freely take skill lines or if you can only swap out the first line with another first line etc.

I'm going to swap my Templar's Aedric Spear skill line for the Nightblade's Assassination skills. I've never cared about most people's interpretation of the Templar as ESO's take on a Paladin, I just wanted my character to be able to use destruction and restoration magic like she does in other TES games and that seemed like the best fit. Assassination is a much better fit with her approach to combat than waving around a huge glowing spear.

I'm also going to swap out the frost skills on my Warden, but I'm not sure what for yet. Maybe the Sorcerer's Storm Calling. Oh and give my Nightblade better healing, but again I'm not sure which I want.

    Prepare to be disappointed.

Dragonknight [ Ardent Flame | Draconic Power | Earthen Heart ]
I'm really happy that a bunch of us are going to be able to get their TES characters closer to their canon.

I've always wanted my nightblade spiritmage to have necromancer's spirit guardian so I'm going to swap assassination for living death on her healer setup and shadow for living death on her damage setup.

I will swap dark magic on my sorcerer main for dragonknight's ardent flame on her damage setup but leave her tank setup as standard sorcerer.

I don't have any more subclassing plans. I'm not really sure what ''subclass into first'' means. I'm going to do both on the day it comes out?

I will stick with my original 3 skill lines.
After researching that it will take twice as long to level up those skill lines on a different character, I'm passing on this. I don't feel like sky shard hunting to upgrade them all. You will need two points for each ability to upgrade instead of one.

It’s hard to say. I have two no-pet sorcerers so I think the first thing I will do is play it safe and swap out their summoning lines with something else, but I’m not sure what yet. And I have a warden that I play as a Druid with an affinity for ice magic, but I really don’t like the animal companion skill line so I may swap it for storm calling, but keep the nature skill line for the Druid theme. And I think I would really like to try a full-blown elementalist character with ice, storm, and fire, that could be a brand new character. And for the rest of my existing characters, I’m just going to look for skill lines. I do not use and see if there’s one out there that I might like better, but I just might leave them mostly the same.

    My sub class...?

I'll be resubbing to WoW to play a game with actual class identity. The biggest thing that kept me around in ESO were my characters, their identity and housing.

Wow has the character part, the identity part, not the housing part...but that changes at the end of the year when they add housing.

I worded it like that because Vanilla forums only support a small number of poll options, and it made the most sense to me to ask what skill line from another class was the community's priority. I'm really happy to see everyone discussing their future Subclassing plans even past their first Subclassed skill line, though!

Dragonknight [ Ardent Flame | Draconic Power | Earthen Heart ]
    Just an idea here.

For Dragonknight Tank. Keep Earthern Heart line for burst resources regeneration on Ultimate activation.

Slot in Shadow skill line from Nightblade: Mirage (Major and Minor Resolve, Major Evasion in one click), Dark Cloak (heals and Minor Protection).

Slot in Soldier of Apocrypha from Arcanist: Runic Sunder, Rune of the Colorless Pool and Minor Evasion from passive.

    Example:
    Front: Pierce Armor/Runic Sunder/Dark Cloak/Igneous Shield/Revealing Flare/Replenishing Barrier

Back: Elemental Blockade/Silver Leash or Leashing Pull/Mirage/Rune of the Colorless Pool/Cinder Storm/Aggressive Horn

Major and Minor Resolve, Major and Minor Evasion, Major and Minor Protection, Major and Minor Breach, Major and Minor Vulnerability, Minor Brittle, extra armor penetration and damage reduction by Runic Sunder, heals, etc.

    Warden [ Animal Companions | Green Balance | Winter's Embrace ]
I may just stick with the original class skill lines but when this comes out I want to look into replacing sorc shields with warden shields and see if there is any good synergy via the passives.

If I can get rid of the transparent sorc lightning form animation by replacing it with major resolve from warden that could kind of be fun too.

I was looking into class skill lines and passives more today to plan more of what I'm giving up and getting, and I'm more excited about swapping my sorcerer's dark magic for ardent flame.

On her DD build she only uses crystal frag, and the passives in that line are really just heal and sustain based--and she's not really lacking in either of those at the moment.

I'm planning on giving her engulfing flames, flames of oblivion, (and standard of might in more serious content), and the passives in that line look pretty nice damage-wise considering the new abilities, her backbar fire staff, flame damage enchant, force pulse spammable, + shooting star or standard of might.

As a fire & shock hybrid, she's looking pretty good o:)

After testing on the PTS, I'm pretty confident that I'll start training Storm Calling first, then Grave Lord second, all while keeping Aedric Spear.

Of course, my ultimate goal is to level all of the subclassed skill lines (including Templar's) to 50, which will take a while to do. I'll probably level the other 6 Classes on my Templar, then swap characters to level Templar on a different Class.

I tried out Fatecarver with my sorc but I'm really not feeling the beam. At all. I hope I won't be forced to use a subclass (forced, as in, I hope pure sorcs won't lag behind too much).

My main character is a Nightblade, and having thought carefully about subclassing into something else, I now feel I would not gain anything terribly important by subclassing into even one other skill line. I believe my Nightblade actives and passives are too good to change. I do also feel that to see a bunch of non-Nightblades running around, for example, with the Cloak skill is a mistake. It seems to me to be a way to hybridize classes but more importantly to acquire skills "on the cheap" so to speak.

I am reminded of something that happened not too long ago. The Gladiator's costume and helmet which I worked so long and hard to get and wore proudly because it showed my effort to get it, was simply given away for purchase, thereby cheapening the effort to acquire it. I still have no idea why that was done. So, while I do not always agree with or even understand certain changes to the game I do believe that we must "adapt or die."

I do understand how others will feel differently about this issue.

None. Some of my characters are probably destined to become furnishing mules depending on how badly they break re-envision skill lines to deliver on this.

Since I roleplay as a knight of House Indoril with my main (sword n' shield Dragonknight), I'm planning to try replacing Ardent Flame with Aedric Spear and see how it goes.
Aedric Spear to invoke the close relationship between House Indoril and the Almsivi Temple - in this case the Aedric Spear can be seen as a power granted by Vivec, resembling the Muatra.
Keeping Earthen Heart to invoke the Ashlander-related heritage of Dark Elven civilisation, with its magma-related skills.
Not sure about Draconic Power, because it's more dragon-related rather than Dark Elven, but I have no idea what to possibly replace it with, and the passives are pretty useful.
However, I never played Templars for longer, and always sooner or later got back to pure Dragonknight so I'm not sure if it will actually work. For now, it's just an idea.

I'm also thinking about doing a Death Knight build by mixing Necromancer's Bone Tyrant abilities with Nightblade's Siphoning.

And maybe a "pure" mage build for a Breton or Altmer, mixing Sorcerer's Storm Calling with Warden's Winter's Embrace.

These are my ideas that I'd love to check out. However, while I was pretty excited about subclassing back when it was announced, now I kinda realised that I really enjoy playing my favourite classes just as they are, and I might not be interested in replacing any skill trees at all, especially when it comes to Dragonknight.

I'm really excited for subclassing, but I just realized that people can now have two pet skill lines and I hope to god that ZOS is planning on releasing this with a way to hide combat pets in non-combat areas because the bear/twilight/scamp/clannfear spam is already out of hand in towns.
