I am sad this this thread is not getting much player attention. I like to do huge mass scale PVP sometimes just to see the amazing visuals; however, to get the feeling that 'I' made a difference, will never come from zerg based PvP.
If you want to look towards what ALOT of players want for PVP, look no further then Guild Wars 1 GvG, or even better Guild Wars 1 'Hall of Heros'.
When you are on a guild team, that opens a 'special dungeon' that can only be opened by defeating 30 other guilds (7-8 per nation, and at the time (USA, Japan, Korea, and Europe)) and only your nation can access this dungeon for 2 hours, its gets your guild and you yourself a name.
The adaptation to this game is simple, 30 guilds, 10 from each faction, battle it out with 12 players a piece in 4 rounds of 3 guilds vs 3 guilds from each faction until only 3 are left, the winning guild gets the glory and all of its faction gets to plunder a huge dungeon that gives epic PvP gear that makes people want to come back for more gear and the GLORY of battle.
^^ this, every two hours - four hours.
I miss those days when the top of the screen ON EVERYONES PC mentioned this: "The fissure of Woe and the Underworld are now open to the USA thanks to <enter your guild name here>" - nothing compares with that, NOTHING, you get tells from everyone in game congratulating you and saying thanks. Escorts to the dungeon people 'tipped' 2 platinum a piece. Long live Clan Dethryche and more importantly: The Little Nutters [PWN] who opened this so much. (of course I was part of PWN so I had to mention them lol)
For the love of gaming, please do this TESO, you have everything except this, take your game to the next level and OWN the PVP world. BTW, ALL hardcore PvP players want this type of PvP, the only reason they dont know it, is because they were too young to do it back in 2005, NO ONE has done this since. OWN THIS TESO.
SIGNED, the one and only "LEET RAGE" from PWN and now the 'Granite Guard'
