New Player looking for assistance and info

If you opened this to see if you could help, you have my appreciation even if you can't assist.
I am attempting to get assistance with the vampire bite primarily for the final 2 tasks to get the full event armor set for Feb. I also will need to find someone else who needs to do the 8 revives for a mutually beneficial completion. I am not sure how to get bit myself in game by the npc, and if necessary will dig in to that solution but am hoping for assistance so I dont end up too late.

Additionally, Im wondering if there is a way to get the compass bar thing of the UI to display distances as well as the icons? I am not sure why but IRL I am on my regional search and rescue, with certification as a master tracker and have taught orienteering programs for over 10 years but nearly every game I play I am always the one who ends up lost. I'm confident enough to admit that being able to navigate almost any worldwide terrain with less sophisticated tools then Columbus without a challange is a bit sad that I get lost on a starter zone island, or a primarily linear dungeon and im apparently game nav inept. So getting distance to symbol details would be useful if it exists.
Also wondering about the scripting unlocks for alts, I read I shouldn't have to replay all the luminaries to get access but I'm not getting any more options for the 1st selectable soul magic script option, I can pick a few alternates for the other selectable parts but not for the skills associated with Griffen, dragon, etc. Do I need to completely replay all them to unlock or is it just that I didnt make the others ever? Maybe something else entirely but just wondering cause I'm only really on week 3 or 4 of playing and the game has a lot going on so trying to make sense of the parts I have at least experienced a bit. If not all good, I should solve it myself since there isn't the same event time limit to worry about, but if someone can assist it would be appreciated since I still cant figure out the clear sequence of quests to follow to get the clearest picture on completion of base game and DLC in chronological order or how to find the scrying places to dig, i wasted a few days wondering why I have never seen a cinematic in game when I enter DLC or Prologues to dlc, only to find a vague mention that ESO doesnt really have them. That source may be wrong but considering how I've never seen one play I'm just going with it for now.
So any help is appreciated, hopefully, once I get a bit better grasp I can use the forums for more important uses, not to plead the case of the adhd newb, who joined a major mmo a decade too later, or however long it's been.
The nickname reaper was given not just used, Ive clinically died twice and came back. My family still has a lot of cultural lore and superstitions, which include having an outcome against any supernaturally linked entity and the encounter resulting in less normal results. So started getting called reaper more since I died and came back beat the reaper get the mantle. It stuck.

    1) You can go to a zone that has vampire shrines and ask in zone chat for a vampire bite, stand by the shrine and a player will come bite you if they’re available.
    2) Not that I know of, but if you’re on PC you can get a minimap addon.
    3) You only need to do the whole scholarium quest once. Intro on subsequent characters. But learning scripts is per character. Make use of the scholarium vendor, it cycles every Tuesday.
    4) There are guides on what order to do quests in, can search it online and find them.

Thank you, I was in a car accident that caused scar tissue on my brain. The result caused me to transgress from an eidetic memory with perfect recall, to my ADHD scatterbrain currently present. Most people say Im more close to the average person's memorization capacity now, but for me its a huge difference, that causes me to be unable to be sure on whats important or not. I guess when I had all the info available I wasn't aware of the need to put them in the two piles as much, so over-explanations + uncaging my ADHD have made me pretty bad at it.

Where are the shrines for vampires? Did the stuff for Ravencroft but don't remember seeing anything about it, but I was only doing main quests.
The scholarium section unlocking, I knew that you were required to reacquire the scripts for alts, but when I go to the alter I only get the soul blast option, the others are not listed so that is the part I am a bit stuck on. Well, that and being broke in-game for the most part, so can't afford the ones I want. I didn't know they changed weekly so now I know to not mess around before they change when there is one that is more optimal for build, very useful info.

Im not on pc, I got the game on my PS5 which was dumb of me since I am more of a pc gamer (Dual SLI rtx 4090's Razer Rig and all the fun peripherals. I had the base game on PS5 and was just gonna check it out, but now seeing the unfortunate results of taking the cheap route and not thinking before subscription. Most likely going to buy on PC as well, so thanks.

As for the quest order, I have been using online guides to follow for the most part, the part that throws me off in ESO is when you reach a point in that quest line, and it just ends!?! Some, I've managed to figure out like Profit and going back to the town teleport for him to tell you they are ready to do the next part. However, some have left me just kinda standing with a dumb look, like there is no flow to the content. Using the guides to get to the next part chronologically doesn't seem like it's actually related to anything previous at all. Most likely user error (my fault) but that was kinda a reason I was looking for why I had yet to encounter cinematics since they are pretty solid indicators of progress in other games. I will have to adapt or just do everything possible and figure out a way to link it in my head.

No problem, and I’m sorry to hear that.
    1) I know there’s one in the upper right corner of the Rift. It’s hidden in the wall and looks like a stone altar. There’s two others but I don’t know where they are exactly, there’s maps online showing their locations though.
    2) You have to also buy the grimroires per character, which is only obtainable through the scholarium vendor. The grimroires do not rotate each week, just the scripts (aside from class script, that one’s also always there).
    3) Addons are in the works for console, so you can wait and see what gets ported over, but the game is more active on PC it seems.
    4) Unfortunately, this is a major problem with ESO’s writing, its not your fault. The base game quests were primarily built around the old, old system where the zones were leveled and you were stuck to your alliance until much later. So, all the Covenant questlines are linked together, all the Dominion questlines are linked together, and all the Pact questlines are linked together, all happening at the same time. Then, the first few DLCs had an order (particularly, Morrowind, Clockwork City, and Summerset) based on the idea that you’ve done all the quests previously. After that, the ideology changed to “new players should be able to start wherever they want” and year-long stories were born. Year-long stories are mostly 4 dungeons, 1 Chapter, and 1 DLC where you should do it in order but its attempted to be written so that you can do it in any order, but once you do the Chapter AND DLC, an ending quest opens up to wrap up the story. THEN with Necrom and Gold Road, they’re different Chapters but you need to do Necrom first and Gold Road is essentially the DLC to Necrom.
TLDR; there’s like 4 ideologies on quest order that ZOS has taken, so it’s very confusing and disconnected. We’re about to go onto our like 5th ideology with the shift to seasons later this year. The writing in this game has gone downhill severely in the past few years, so I’d focus on the old content in order first.
