Would Cyrodiil be better or worse with more limitations on sneaking?

Personally, I never really liked everyone being able to be invisible more or less whenever they want and wherever they want. What if there were more limitations on sneaking just in Cyrodiil? For instance, what if stamina drained at a fixed rate and continued even when not moving? Would something like this increase or decrease your enjoyment of Cyrodiil?

Unless you spec for stealth, you’ll be slow and easily detected. Sneaking is not that big of an issue in Cyro for most PvPers.

Ive never once felt the sneak mechanic was a problem, Id argue its actually a good mechanic in its current state (minus bugs where you cant ever come out of 'detected' status because a wolf across the map smelled your lunch and is just standing in place).

Invisibility I can understand. however, I didnt think previous iterations of invis were a problem either, theres numerous tools to pull people out of stealth, including very generous ranges on detect pots, which are easily craftable. Players learning to look for and deal with stealth players is a more appropriate course of action at this point imo. maybe ZOS can implement a Training room that actually covers these mechanics (im sure theres some tutorial on sneaking/stealth, but I dont remember it if there is, and I doubt it covers pulling players out of stealth).

the training room idea could be useful for a lot of mechanics throughout the game, and not just at the start of creating a new character. Think training dummy, but it can perform different mechanics, whether its going invisible, stunning, immobilizing, snaring you, using rush of agony and breaking its own rules, moving in a circle so you can practice not being detected, etc.

I think the sneaking mechanics are fine.

NB cloak on the other hand is grossly OP and could use some nerfing big time.

    Sneaking by itself is fine.

The type of PVP some people argue for already exists elsewhere so I don't understand why some people insist on trying to change the few things that make THIS game's PVP unique.

There are already a lot of possibilities to counter stealth, so no change is needed.

First of all, this is just a discussion, not a demand for change. I've been playing since before launch, so I think I earned the right to start a discussion.

Second of all, there are no other games with Cyrodiil minus everyone sneaking. If you have some list of 3-faction, persistent, open world PvP games somewhere, please share.

It was just nerfed not long time ago and players still want it more nerfed or in best case fully removed 🙄

Okay, yes there are no other games with Cyrodiil, but open world? Yes. Persistent PVP? Yes. I'm not going to sit here and list them because of rules and such, nor do I think it's my place to tell you to play something else because I think that's a d move. But it would be nice if we could go at least a month without a thread complaining about stealth or cloak when there are much bigger problems going on.

I would not like more limitations on sneaking. Actually, I'd like if Werewolf was given the ability to sneak, to be on par with everyone else.

I think every playstyle should be allowed to sneak and have some interesting interactions with the stealth system. Stealth isn't exclusive to Nightblades and/or Vampires nor should it be.

Sneaking will only take you so far, especially if your enemy runs with a trusty detect pot. ;)
