Grec1a✭✭✭✭So I bought the Gloam Gryphon Fledgling from a guild trader in the end. It certainly wasn't the cheapest thing I've bought this event. I seem to recall it being for sale for cheaper before the event started, but maybe I'm misremembering...
Other items have also stayed quite pricey. Browsing TTC on Friday, it looked like I'd be lucky to get a Sovngarde Stalwart chest for under 100k, or a Doctrine Ordinator one for under 80k (although I did later get that one in a coffer). If you don't want to use tickets on the mechanical clannfear pet, you'll be struggling to get all the fragments for under 250k unless the price drastically drops in the next couple of days.
I don't think this event is great for new players - they have more sets to collect than veteran players, and less wherewithal to buy any missing pages.
I still reckon it would have been better if the event had been "as advertised" instead of "as intended", so you could farm a particular zone for the items you wanted. I've only been playing for 2 years, but on the rare occasion I get a style page in a coffer it is just as likely to be one I already have than one from the previous 8 years

BloodWolfe✭✭✭✭Bringing this back because I've been going nuts with this and as per the website it was by location so I spent my time trying for the Sovngarde style pages and have only ever received Lion Guard garbage. What is going on? This loot pool is a joke!
That said, anyone have spare Sovngarde style pages? I literally have none of them and have had the worst luck on this event getting what I wanted. I refuse to spend crowns on event tickets to buy them and reinforce this behaviour from ZOS.0 -

All the pages are in one loot pool, so it is working as intended. The list in our article was meant to highlight what you can get, rather than where you can source them from.
