You need to have the daily quest "win a battleground match" to get the token.

You can change daily quest by just abandon the quest and talk to battlemaster again until you get the right quest.

The quest is "To the Victor". All other quests do not count nor wins in BGs. I happen to be playing some bgs and just turn in the quests as fast as I am able. The one for the token I do once every day as I think you can get only one token per day (or during the time frame until the quest resets).

Is this a bug or intended? I did two different daily quests for Battlemaster Rivyn and did not receive any Battle Token. I just got the Win a Battleground quest now but do not want to wait another queue.

If it is a bug, which it sure seems like it is, when can we expect it to get fixed? And will we receive any battle token compensation for the days we turned in one of these other quests and missed out on the battle token? Thanks!

I actually made a post about it yesterday: we still do not have any response whether the token is intended to drop from any quest or they “forgot” to delete the other quests and new “win” quest was only one to have remained.

Yes. It is known. Everyone always gets a token from that one.

The issue is - patch notes U44 didn’t say “you will only get token from win 1 quest only”. Patch notes said you will get it for “a daily quest”.

What we don’t know is whether they meant to just keep “the win daily quest” and they forgot to delete other quests in the game or whether they forgot to add tokens to loot table for the other, old quests.

HI all, just wanted to follow up here on the battlemaster token question. Checking in with the team on some details here, but some folks are still out for the holiday and won't be back until Monday. So we'll be able to get a better answer for this sometime next week.

Not only do you have to get the one quest, you have to win. 30 times.

My guess is they don’t know yet. But at least, they could up date and say …. We messed up and missed this. And we don’t know yet. Sorry; it will take us 6 months to figure out, hold on.

Done. Then we can move on and not be feeling like communication is bad. Just decision making/punctuality, etc.

We all know how to get it. That isn’t the question here. There are 2 quests (out of 3) that are broken where they either need updating or deletion - and Kevin replied he will get an answer on New Year’s Day, but that the team was on vacation. Again, not really an issue with the item itself, or farming it.

More of an issue - identified something is broken/unfinished - acknowledged yes it is - then silence.

Imagine if it was about something you cared deeply about - and were purposefully ignored - would you feel good? And I say imagine - as you may not care about anything.

Bug still extant. It does not drop correctly from all of Rivyn's Battleground quest rewards. I have been unable to obtain a token for.the past five days despite winning a dozen battlegrounds in that time AND completing Rivyn's quests at least once per day.

I was chatting with JessicaFolsom a few days ago and I sent her everything that's wrong with Battlegrounds quests and their rewards in detail. I also (painfully) tested all BG rewards and edited the results on UESP. Go see those pages to see how BG rewards work atm

Lost Thesis only drops from reward boxes? Where does this come from?

I am under the impression that this drop can come from any:

"win will get you mailed a "A Champion's Prize"

It would make quite a difference if you only have two chances each day for a lost thesis drop.
Or a chance for a drop after each won game.

That is what is written on the Update 44|v10.02.5 patch notes.
Patch notes that contain numerous errors but still.

As far as I understand it, the *new mailers* are the mails we receive after each battleground-win! And not only after the first daily battleground win.

Indeed, but as I said those patch notes contain numerous errors. Like you never always get the Competitive box even when winning a 8v8 match.
You only get one "new mailer" per day (per char) for your first win. The mail you get for every win is "A champion's Prize" which gives different stuff. Proof of that is that you get both when you win your first match ^^
For the Lost Thesis, I edited per the patch notes sayings anyway because I know of no other Lost Thesis drop since the BG rework.

Battlemaster tokens are dropping as intended, but will be getting an update to more easily source them. Like was outlined earlier Battlemaster tokens do come from a daily quest. It looks like currently, they are only sourced from the daily quests "win a battleground match". However we are adjusting this in U45 so that the tokens are sourced from more daily quests rather than a specific one. So that should roll out next month. Hopefully that answers the question originally posed.

Does more mean all of them? It doesn't make sense that just some of the battleground dailies give it, it should be given by any of them.
