Battlegrounds token source accurate or no?

Basically question, with battlegrounds token only dropping from 1 win quest, and not from any coffer as stated in the patch notes 44, is this intended or no? I don’t see this listed in known issues and can’t find anywhere that ZoS said this isn’t intended and fix planned?

You get it when you turn in win 1-3 match quest, you get it as quest reward together with box, not inside the box. It is once per day per account.

Yup, I actually stated that in my post. Question is - is that intended? Because the patch notes 44 do not say “it will drop not inside the box”. They state that it WILL drop inside the box - which leads to assumption it’s broken, however I do not see confirmation of that anywhere.

My guess would be no. But like you said, no confirmation as far as I know, so all we can do is guess.

The way the patch notes are written makes it sound like they operated under the assumption that there is only one daily battleground quest. Maybe the person/people who knew that there are in fact more have moved on to other projects/companies?

The fact that there's a workaround (abandon quest and accept again until you get the right one) will probably put it low on their priority list. Again, just guessing.

My interpretation of the patch notes was that the Win 3 Battlegrounds quest was going to become the only battlegrounds daily. Clearly that hasn't happened though, so sometimes you have to play an awfully large number of matches (5 matches completed, plus 1000 medal points in additional matches, plus a win in even more additional matches) just to get the token.

You don't, that's the workaround I mentioned. You can abandon the quest and take it again, which one you get is random every time.

It's definitely not completely random. I regularly get the same one 10+ times in a row (when I haven't done any of the others that day). Sometimes going to a different instance of Battlemaster Rivyn helps but not always. It feels like sometimes it's random and sometimes the game wants you to do them in a specific order.
