The house was free. The tickets were free from spending less than 5 minutes to do a single quest each day. That is a win win to me.

... and I actually love the Home.

Linchal was my first and favorite and the aesthetic of the new one is absolutely wonderful.

I couldn't be more pleased with it.

    Ticket cost is irrelevant.

It's not big enough to be a typical Notable house.
    It is a Classic-sized house.

Lots of people complain about Notable houses, anyway, because they are difficult to fill suitably with furnishings because of the furnishing-slot limits.

Mine's a temple to one of the deities. There's a furnishing pack I've been dying to use for it for years and years and this is the perfect house for it, I'm so happy.

As for the OP topic, I can see the issue with it not having the player cap at 24. Especially because I think it's a really nice home for a guild hall vibe.

Some of y'all would complain about oxygen.
Of course, that stuff causes rust and fuels fire. Quite dangerous and therefor should be banned.

But I like the house. :)

There have been many requests for smaller houses that are easier to decorate, and this is one of them. You can fill them more effectively than notables because of the smaller space.

As others have said, I am not sure what I will do with it yet because I am still working on other houses, but I always appreciate free houses.

EDIT: Also, all the pets and skins and personalities I get from tickets go unused for me but houses are the only thing I really enjoy from events

Use your pets in your houses. I've seen typical terarriums to full on menageries. As well as some really creative uses (I've seen the snowball pet used as part of a build). Dunno what I'd do with a molag illusion pet though.

Well what they're saying is if they *called* this a notable, while changing nothing about the size of it, then there'd be 100 more decorative slots.

Perhaps, but someone else has already stated why smaller houses won’t have larger amounts of furnishings.

Yeah, I meant the event pets don’t really seem useful to me, in houses or just as regular pets. I admit I don’t put pets in houses much anyway, because I don’t care for the visual clutter than pathing adds to the housing editor.

The rooms are decorated with accents related to the companion whose room it is; e.g. Lyris's room has Nord banners.

I have the same issues, because I am not subbed to ESO+. So half the building budget for me. 😉
But I circumvent the lower limit by walling off unnecessary parts of the big houses.
This way I can enjoy the high build limit, and have a smaller and cozier living space at the same time.

In Merryvine I have walled off the entire upper floor
In Alinor Crest the outdoors area
        Amaya Lake the upper floor
In Hundings palace the balconies and the beach
In Mathiisen Manor the outdoors area, too
My Emissaries Enclave ends with the upstairs room

... my Khajiit Family is thinking of turning it into a large gallery for carpets, wall hangings and paintings.
maybe a few exotic animals and plants and stalls with sweetrolls, other food and drinks in between as tourist magnet.
and with rest areas where moon sugar and smoking pipes are offered

just thinking about it ... 🤔💰

I'm not going to complain about something that was free, did nothing but play the game to get it. It's a nice house and I like the table. Since I'm not really into the housing scene I prefer the classic sized homes since they are big enough to fit all my chests, assistants, and crafting stations.

One of the rooms has either high elf or Alinor things in it (I’m at work but I remember looking when it first came out), so that’s Mannimarco’s room. One is purely Imperial stuff so that’s Varen’s room. One is a mix of Imperial and Elsweyr so it is conjectured that that is Abnur Tharn’s room, with the Elsweyr stuff relating to his role with the dragons. And I think one is Redguard stuff so that’s Sai Sahan. 🙂

And once you have matched the other four rooms by racial origin, Abnur's is the one remaining. The housing editor shows Nord, High Elf or Alinor, Imperial, and Redguard when you inspect the rugs, drapes and chandeliers, so you don't even have to recognize them.

I guess each room could be decorated for its respective companion, then little rope barriers put up in a rectangular shape going into the room so you could walk into each room a little ways and look at the room as if it was a museum room for that companion. Hmmm… 🤔

PS. Oh, I wonder if there’s a door in the game that would fit the doorways?

Well, I made a pentagram and placed him in the middle. Works well with the vibe of the house that I decorated.

But Elsweyr came after the main story chronologically by release date. I think there is some acknowledgement in the Elsweyr quest that the character has already met Tharn if you have done the main quest too. I know you can argue that the game can be played out of order, but that is not possible if you started in the beginning.

Besides, Tharn’s home is in Cyrodiil and he has connections there. He should have an Imperial banner too.
