NA Wabbajack Dominion Scroll carrier: hack or bug?

We have suicided into the water with slaughter fish to see what would happen to the scroll we were carrying. In our test it went back to the fort that we took it from, not the closest shrine.

Looks to me that if he wanted to exploit it in the water he could have long before he did. I'm guessing he had no other avenues of escape and gave the slaughter fish a go and what transpired after was mere happenstance. But my conjecture doesn't let us burn him at the stake. So lets ignore it.

Like I said, it could very well be a bug. Maybe he just wanted to drop the Scroll in the water for a good laugh and didn't expect to be revived at the Gate with the Scroll. It's happened before AD has done this, we spent a while trying to fish the Scroll out of the water and kept dying because of slaughterfish. We got it in the end :D

You can be pretty damn sure you've stumbled onto a real exploit when customer service/devs respond to it this quickly on the ally campaign boards.

So I guess EP outnumbering AD and DC combined is fair?

    EP whining is hilarious

Another person believing in the incredibly stupid idea that a faction is not allowed to report bugs, exploits or hacks if they're wining. Because that's what this thread is about: an error in the game.

Yes, because the in game report system is just a farce. That robot that sends those automated emails in response to in game reports doesn't actually send them on to be investigated! :|

Who cares? This bug is insignificant when compared to the fact that not a single campaign has any kind of population balance.

The fact that no campaigns have population balance is entirely the fault of players.

Why folks flock to those campaigns is beyond me, but they are the problem, not the game.

If you don't want to report bugs/hacks/exploits, that's your business. But calling it "whinning" is ridiculous.

First, this bug/exploit needs to be fixed.

Second, funny how people can't remember all the problems with RvRvR in DAOC. How Albion had the huge population advantage on most servers. How the two underdogs couldn't take them on, even when combined. How Mythic had to entice people with pre-leveled characters to join other servers that were underpop.

I lamented the focus on PvP in this game, which could have gone into have much more PvE content, to keep people entertained. PvP is something Elder Scrolls has never been about. And the silly RvRvR "sides" in this game, something else that ES has never been about.

And thus, DAOC's problems have become ESO's problems. And those with rose-tinted glasses will still continue to deny.

    Oh well.

ahh DAoC, with the mindless Albion zergs running repeatedly to their deaths at the bridge over and over again.

hmm this reminds me of Alessia bridge and AD in ESO.
