Odd queue interactions

Mostly seeing this with ToT since I've been playing it a lot to get achievements.
The ui bugs out as I've discussed here:

Sometimes even though I reset, I get stuck in the queue and can't exit. The other game queues interact in an interesting way.
I am able to get out of this stuck state by queueing for a random dungeon. The queue pops immediately, even though I'm a dps! This just doesn't happen, since we know dps have to wait for rarer roles to fill.
Note that I was able to decline the random normal queue and that canceled my ToT queue.
