As someone who does a lot of PvP… I hope for the best but plan for the worst.
PvP isn’t a huge money maker the same way that housing or DLC content can be. Most changes to PvP are base game and are hard to monetize, so I think we will see other (non-PvP) stuff introduced in the next few cycles.

Many pvp players left when we stopped getting a quality product. I’ve spent way more money than I’d like to think on this game, and I know players that quit out of frustration that spend many times more.
Give them a reason to come back and they will spend money elsewhere in the game, not everything needs to be monetized in this game.
Don’t be EA.

Interesting and I guess I didn’t realize it. PvP people are buying the same stuff as PvE.
PvP folks play PvE stuff it seems a lot more than PvE folks play PvP.
It now makes sense why they develop a lot (90% or more?) for PvE oriented play. The PvP/PvE overlap really goes in one direction.
