Can we please dress companions that become Houseguests?

Because that'd be much better than their current drab default outfits.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

    I like that idea.

We can set their combat outfits so why not their home clothing too?

Simply have them wear that they used then they was placed in house, removing and adding in will update them.

Yes its add more parameters but not that many, need to keep track on this on all alts anyway.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I personally like the outfits that each Houseguest version of each Companion wear. I want to be able to use their Houseguest outfit as their regular outfit!

That’s easy enough. They’re all costumes, so all you need to do is figure out which it is and dye it.

The only one you can’t do that with (yet) is Zerith, since his costume is unavailable at present. I also don’t know what Tanlorin’s costume is since I haven’t gotten them yet.

I can’t check them now since I’m not at home, but I know Basti’s houseguest costume is the Imperial Waterfront one and Sharp’s got some Bosmer thing that released recently (it was bright green, but his is dyed drab). I don’t know the others off the top of my head.

Mirri wears "Arvel's Ashland attire" which was funny when I first saw it, because my main was wearing exactly the same back then, even in the same colours.

we can't dress other houseguests so i don't expect specifically the companion's houseguests to get an exception, but it would be fun to dress up any houseguests.

Zerith and Tanlorin's houseguest costumes are both unreleased, they could be related to their factions as Tanlorin's is worn by other Garland Ring members.

Isobel's costume is unreleased too i believe, but it looks old.

Isobel's costume is similar to the High Rock Pioneer costume though, if someone wants to put her in something pretty close. I wouldn't be surprised if these were made at the same time but Isobel's wasn't released (or at least I don't recall her costume and couldn't find it).

Personally, I don’t like Tanlorin’s houseguest look because it looks too much like armor imo. I believe it is what they’re wearing when we first meet them, before they don their actual armor during the first quest.

it is what Wisteria wears in Tanlorin's quests, but Tanlorin wears Jakarn's Ensemble in their intro quest.

Perhaps I'm in a minority but I want to bring my actual companion into a home when I visit - just like I can do with my summoned bear. I'd happily lose all the companion houseguests to be able to bring my actual companion to my house.

The best compromise would be that you must place the houseguest, but then the actual companion will take their place if currently summoned when you enter. The costume or outfit is already recorded, so it should not require any extra storage on the server. The population limit is not affected, either.

I'd love this also to be able to give them different outfits for different builds, like, if I need to dress a couple of them up as Aldmeri guards. Huge potential for housing builds.
