Why are their name still coming up in my mail list?

I was friends with a guildy that did me wrong so I put them on my ignore list. Now when I want to send mail to a friend with similar name , his name pops up. Twice I accidently sent him mail instead of my friend.

If i left guild, put person on ignore then his name should not pop up on my mailing list. It's beyond annoying

You can go into the SavedVariables folder (on PC - doubt this would work on console), open the ZO_Ingame.lua file and find the user name you do not want to send mail to ever again (search on it in the text app of your choice), then delete that name. It should pop up in one of the (probably many) "Recent Interactions" lists. Delete the entire line the name appears in and then delete the "empty" line.

Be sure to make a copy of the file first!

It is nuking it from orbit, but console players can wipe the local configuration files. If that is where it is stored on PC, then it is likely stored there on consoles, too.

Of course, as the help suggests, it would be necessary to go in and do some of the settings again.

I would also write a Feedback suggesting that they remove blocked players from that list. That is the real solution, but not one we are likely to see any time soon.
