    how is it that when a death match is tied the winner is the team that healed the most? That seems off. If all everyone did was heal the outcome of the games would always be a tie. The point of DM is to cause the death of your opponent. You don't do that by healing. It would seem only reasonable that the team that did the most damage would win on a tie break. If nothing else, medal score should be the same for every point of damage as it is for every point of healing?

    Medal score didn't matter when ties didn't matter. Now ties matter so medal score matters. Don't think this was well thought out either as it really just seems backwards.

    Because the medal score is either bugged or the in game information (which is the same as the information in the link below) is false and there is a typo. For some reason the critical heal medal gives 100 points instead of 5, been like this for years.

    Sure, medal score is an awful way to determine a tie, but at least zos should make up their mind on how many points the critical heal medal should actually give, or fix the in game description to be accurate.

    Off to another great start.

    First queue of the night tonight. 6min wait, 5 min wasted in an empty lobby. 4v4 group queue. GG

    2nd Queue, 4min wait, 5 min wasted in an empty lobby...

    3rd queue, 2min wait, 5 min wasted in an empty lobby....

    4th queue, 3min wait, 5 min wasted in an empty lobby...

    This is fixed @ZOS_Kevin? Is this the expected experience?

    5th queue, we tried seeing if it was just 4v4 (we've been queuing 4v4 and 8v8 all night) so we only queued for 8v8. 20min wait and we gave up and refreshed the queue with 4v4 again.

    6th queue, 8min wait, 5 min wasted in an empty lobby.

    Literally 0 play time tonight.

    We decided to try again while we watched the end of the Lions/Texans game in only the 8v8 queue. After 9min we got a match that finally ran. I can confirm that at least two players in the lobby queued in solo. CTR mode, lasted about 8 min, but was still fun.

    We ran one more, only 8v8 queue again, 6min wait. Crazy King. Was a fun one to end on.

    Overall, ~2hours of in game time and we got ~20 minutes of actual playtime.

    I'm getting others now. But I haven't gotten the one with the tree in the middle in weeks and I still haven't gotten the one with the water since this morning. I queue for both 4v4 and 8v8 solo. Also I am only getting the smaller maps. I haven't gotten the two larger city-ish maps since yesterday after 15 bgs.

    Thanks for the update. Please let me know if by the time you stop playing if you haven't gotten any of the bigger maps. It could just be odd luck, but something to raise with the team just incase.

    I'm pretty much giving up on battlegrounds. Why do under 50s only get the 8x8 for a start. Sick of failed BGs time after time. Favourite was when I couldn't revive. Pressed E nothing happens, press E again, not just booted from BG but right back to the character screen. Weird and a deserter penalty as well to add insult to injury.

    checked with a few guildies and played another 5 or so bgs. getting mota ka or whatever, the cauldron place for dm, the blackwood one and the high isle one. that's it. others in my bg guild saying the same thing. I don't think it's coincidence at this point.

    edit: I just got Strid River. Maybe worst rng ever or there's something else. idk.

    First BG of the night. Queuing for both 4v4 and 8v8 in the group queue.

    4 min wait, 5min wasted in a 4v4 lobby with only 3 enemy team members. Sigh... Let's hope this is a fluke...

    2nd queue, 3min wait, 4v4 finally fired!

    3rd queue, 10min wait 4v4 fired. Good game. Close deathmatch.

    Ok I actually got to stop updating this because matches were firing. We got 6 total games tonight in 7 queues. 1 8v8 popped, the rest were 4v4s. I actually feel like this was a worth while night for the first time in over a week. Thanks!

    I queued for a 8v8 tonight. 7 players on our team, 8 on the others. Sat in the lobby for 5 minutes and then the BG failed.

    The queue is NOT fixed.

    I cannot believe that this was the flagship content for Q4 this year. We used to get full zone quests like Southern Elsweyr, Murkmire, and Galen. I was so excited for new BG's because I really do love them WHEN THEY WORK. Sadly right now trying to do BG's is an exercise in frustrating futility.

    They work now. No one queues because they are so bad.

    Not trying to be a downer but this is the reality. You and the grand total of six other people that enjoy this new format only adds up to seven.

    Why not have @ZOS_BrianWheeler give an update on this forum? \
    We also deserve an update on what's being done about Cyrodiil, It's been a poor experience for quite some time now.

    @ZOS_Kevin dude, this isn't getting solved. Whatever you did in the patch definitely helped, but this is a bandaid fix. We just had 3 dead 8v8 queues in a row during Domination weekend.

    It really doesn't make any sense. Are there separate teams that work on the dungeon finder queue, the tales of tribute leaderboard, and the BG queues?

    Why does Dungeon Finder issue a ready check and then ONLY create the instance when all party members have ready checked?

    Why does Tales of Tribute get a functional leaderboard based on the player skill and not their time accrued?

    All it takes is 1 person in the 4v4 or 8v8 group queue to ruin the entire lobby for 15 other people. It is extremely rare that anyone will ever solo queue into the group queue. How did this get missed?!

    Please do not wait until next patch to resolve this. This is such a waste of your player's time!

    60+ minutes in game tonight for 1x 8v8 and 1x 4v4. We just had a 4v4 fail because a solo joined our team. This is just so so bad.

    In the last 20 minutes I have 2 out of 3 BGs failed to start for this reason PC EU:
    "Not enough players. The battleground will close in 10 second."
    I'm really mad that this update is just crap! I want to play the game, not a simulator of waiting for players.

    Queues are no longer "broken", by definition, however, the logic that was created by the devs is extremely flawed.

    @ZOS_Kevin why did the devs choose to create an entirely new queuing system rather than using the logic that was already in place (and has worked for years) with the dungeon finder?

    When people queue in for the dungeon finder, the system matches the players and issues ready checks. When someone misses the ready check or declines, everyone gets put back into the queue. No instance is created.

    This is honestly really frustrating in the group queue. It's designed to fail, especially in the 8v8 lobbies because the chances of someone needing to be afk during the ready check is multiplied 4x. Very few people solo queue into the group queue, so when someone misses the ready up, ZOS holds 15 people hostage and won't let them leave and do other things in the game, otherwise they get a penalty.

    This solution should have already happened. BGs were the Q4 content feature and were not presented as a beta test. The issues surrounding the delivery of this patch are 100% descriptive of a game in beta. It's maddening how much of our time gets wasted in 5min lobbies because the devs didn't consider what would happen when someone either misses or declines the ready up.

    Do not wait until U45 to fix this. It has to be done asap and it should have already been done. This is such a waste of your player's time.
