Crown Crate rotation speed.

Hi, I'm more or less a new player (I've been playing ESO since about April) and I'd like to get the following things from Crown Crates:
Shadow Atronach Senche (Flame Atronach Crate, was in the game 2017-2018)
Lambent Shadowmane Courser (Sovngarde Crate, was in the game 2020)
and Shade polymorph (Ragebound Crate, was in the game 2023).

So now I am facing a 1, 2 or several year wait for the return of these Crates.
Considering how many types of Crates are in the game, I think their rotation should be rapidly increased.
My opinion (or what I would welcome) is that they should rotate in the Crown Store every week, that way each type of Crate would rotate in the game in a fairly reasonable amount of time and players who want something specific would have a much better chance of getting that thing without waiting a year or more...
What do you guys think?

I agree, there's too many crates now for them to continue to commit to an ever-widening 2-2 1/2 year return cycle. With four new crates a year, it's simply taking way too long. It's been over two years since Sunken Trove for example.

Having two returns a month is a good new trend, but there should also be at least 1 returning crate during the month a new crate is debuted (like this month for example).
You have discovered the thirty-seventh Sermon of Vivec, which is a bending of the light, long past the chronicles of the Hortator who wore inconstant faces and ruled however they would, until apocalypse.

not too sure on the ragebound crate since it was only last year it was released, ZOS usually has a 2-year minimum on returning past crates back into the store, some things may take even longer, based off past rotations and the ESO wiki.

You can request nicely via ticket i believe and ask them for a specific item from previous crates, only one though. There have been a few success stories where players asked nicely for a certain store item, usually houses i think, and say they will pay upfront for the item in full, and ZOS provides a code or puts it into your account. I'm not entirely sure of the process, it's just a guess, but it would not hurt to ask. Worst they can say is "sorry we can't do that right now" or something similar.

i dont know if the shade polymorph will make a return, unless they also bring back the 25 crate + polymorph deal for it, as the poly was not actually in the crate

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

Yeah, that's exactly it, Ragebound was last year and for me it's now a yx year wait, which is really sad to me, yknow.
Also, from a financial standpoint, it would be better if ZOS was spinning through the crates faster in the crown store.

The second part you wrote, it probably only applies to houses and things like that because the price of a radiant Apex mount for example is not a given but depends on luck, so I guess in my case it probably wouldn't work.
Although with the Shade polymorph one there might be a chance? It was part of a bundle and the price was given, but I don't really want to believe that this could be arranged through a ticket.

Yeah I know that was part of the bundle and you have to think positive and believe in a miracle and the soon return of those Crates and that bundle. ;)

we just dont know yet lol

theres no current precedent for those returning yet

they could potentially release those items separately from the crate since they are not inside the crate itself, but at this point we just dont know

    Yea, that wouldn't be bad.

Honestly, at this rate, just make the gambling crates accessible by default, there is way too many of them and many of us probably only care about items from one or two specific crates that we won't see again for 2 to 4 years it feels like... Making these gambling crates cycle so badly and only available for a few weeks is just horrible for anyone who isn't a "whale", as much as I hate using that term.

Given so much funding depends on the store, it makes very little sense to so limit the stock and thus limit the funding they get from it.

It's not a fashion house where the reputation of the house depends on always making new things and everyone wearing the latest.

They should just put up for sale what they have made.

I doubt anyone has any real evidence backed with financials that FOMO brings in more money, than letting people browse and purchase through a complete catalogue.

I don't think it's a matter of "pure" money - FOMO mechanics are what can keep a player logging in for months and years, when maybe the same player with access to a full catalogue would buy everything straight away and when get tired after 6 months (?) could leave the game. This would result in worse figures to show to investors: less playtime, less player count, more burst income but less constant revenue stream, etc...

    Btw: I hate FOMO too.
