ZOS has played the "for performance reason" card so many times now that people think modern day servers are not capable of basic search. It's 2024.

Could we look to incorporate a universal search system in Tamriel? The map is expanding. When I can't find an item I want or the price I wish or with selling as well, it's almost an exploration of its own. Jumping through load screens to match a price to sell or find something cheaper, couldn't we have the ability to search it up?

Having a universal search won't find an item that isn't for sale.
There are at least two addons that will provide pricing estimates.

If the guild trader system was easier to use there would be more people buying and selling, likely leading to a greater variety of items for sale.
I'm in a social guild which usually has a trader and almost every time the store is mentioned in guild chat someone asks how it works. Sometimes it's new players, other times it's someone who has been playing for years and never figured it out. Often they've looked at guild traders occasionally but either didn't know their inventory appears empty until you manually search for something and just assumed it was empty, or whatever they searched for wasn't on that trader at that time and after a few attempts they gave up using them because if you can't find what you want when you want it they're useless.
At the moment using traders, even as a buyer, is a big time commitment and it puts a lot of people off, which then reduces the pool of both buyers and sellers to those willing to commit to it, and then they're usually under pressure to only sell fast moving and valuable items in order to meet the requirements for fees and minimum sales.

World of Warcraft was made in 2004 and doesn’t have performance issues nor does it suffer from adding new content ? Let’s just call a spade a spade.

ESO wasn't developed by blizzard nor does it run on the same engine.
Not disagreeing with the overall point but unless zos decides to address it, then it won't happen.
Based on the way things are going the plan to address buy/sell issues is to not mess with it but instead focus on trying to make farming something that every player does instead of using gold to purchase items.
