Pet one-bar hybrid sorc | Kill-steal machine | Build Write-up

Want to share an easy one bar sorc build that I find pretty fun to BG, it's dead easy to pilot with 1 bar oakensoul setup.
This build doesn't feel well in 1v1 but it's an absolute kill-steal machine.

x5 Gladiator's - 1.5k unbuffed WD to execute range is no joke. It has 2 row of crits, which would otherwise be underwhelming, but...
x5 Xul-Zan's / Order's Wrath - ...you can build into crits, which makes multiply this huge raw WD bonus. Makes Mage's Wrath's crits particularly bright.
x1 Oakensoul - no need to keep up buffs at Major Resolve, Major Brutality, Major Savagery. Spend that time stealing kills.
x1 Slimecraw, Bow, Precise, Shadow Mundus - bow has crit passive. Shadow mundus is the best crit related mundus.
x2 Tristat Recovery Enchs, x1 Mag recovery ench, Hissmir Fish-Eye Rye, Mana pots or (Lady's Smock + Corn Flower + Wormwood = Detection + Mana) - sustain package.

Crystal Weapon -> Mage's Wrath - main rotation. It's also never wrong to just spam Mage's Wrath in teamfights on everyone.
Summon Volatile Familiar - prebuff before fight. Delayed stun source is actually pretty good if you don't have to double-bar it.
Twilight Matriarch - main source of healing. Heals 2 targets instead of 1, compared to single target heals available, but be wary that it can be destroyed and ppl will try to catch you right after that.
Daedric Tomb - protection from ambushes, deals x3 spammable damage total, can be thrown on enemy offensively to immobilize.

Energy Overload - restores resources and pushes single target damage.
If you need AoE ult, go for Suppression Field.

Not the best build, but surprisingly effective for 1 bar.

i would think it would be more reliable to use hardened ward over matriarch, though matriarch you can support allies if your teamed, such as your example of a BG, but i like the idea

ive considered using kvatch gladiator on a templar setup with the jesus beam as a focus, but have also suggested it to a friend who was using sorc for awhile in cyro lol

definitely a really good execute focus set
    plays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

It wouldn't be a Pet Sorc without Matriarch....

to me the matriarch alone does not make a sorc a pet sorc, having the scamp out would still be sufficient

the matriarch from my experience is terrible in cyro, but can be good team support in BGs

Could be true. I suspect I would be bad in battlegrounds either way. I don't think I have tried any in ESO yet.

I still like both pets as it is the closest thing to a hunter class we have.

This build doesn't stack magicka at all. It's med & weapon damage & crits as a source of damage, all stats go to HP, and food provides stam+mag recoveries with both of them being used.

If you would go Hardened Ward, you need stack magicka hard, but also you would need to remove any pets as it will disable healing part, and "Increases your Max Health by 10% if you have a pet active. Increases your Max Magicka and Stamina by 10% if you have no pets active" passive.

If you want more healing, I'd probably suggest to go 2 bars and do crit surge, with crits this high it's like Resolving Vigor running in the background. And for more realiable healing, scribing heal is still an option.

But I just like the utility of Oaken here, with pets you are only winning 3 slots, and all 3 would be buffs that you get from Oaken, that you now need to keep up.

thats true, from a min-maxing perspective it makes sense on the choice

probably would be better to go with a scribing heal then if you didnt want to rely on the matriarch, at least if your in cyro, im sure in BGs the matriarch makes more of a difference
